Fish eat it, they poop it out. Doesn't dissolve prematurely in the tank before it's eaten. Good option to buy in a pinch.
Aqueon products are excellent. Price was good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fish thoroughly enjoyed this food. I alternate between this and beta fish food. He still alive and very happily thriving with his big appetite. The texture is what I'm used to with any type of freshwater fish food.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, my goldfish seem to really enjoy this food! I don't necessarily see the “color enhancing” that this product claims, but my goldfish are several years old. Doesn't seem to cause any odor or cleaning issues.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you look closely you can see two very happy goldfish swimming around in my outdoor pond. This food is great, I love that the granules float for a little before slowly sinking to the bottom. It doesn't have a scent and the ingredients are on par with other fish food I've used. The small jar is easy to store with all our other supplies.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Effective, I definitely saw a boost in the vivid oranges in Mr. Tuttles. Came in a big box much too big for product. Strong scent. Good texture. My goldfish seemed to like it. Good ingredients for healthy fishy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Aqueon Goldfish Color Granules food has been an absolute game-changer for my gold fish! Since switching to it, my fish absolutely swarm the surface at feeding time. They seem to find it incredibly palatable, which is a relief because they've been finicky in the past. More importantly, I've noticed a major, positive shift in their behavior. They are significantly more active, constantly darting around the tank, exploring the decor, and generally showing much more zest for life. The lethargy is gone! They are also far more curious, readily approaching the front of the tank when I'm near. This food has truly brought out their vibrant personalities. Highly recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't notice that the fish looked any more colorful in my opinion. However, the fish did seem to enjoy eating it. So I can not recommend it if you are hoping to get more vibrant colors in your fish. I can recommend it if you are just looking for a new fish food that has somewhat less waste.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I will give this a five out of five, but due to the fact, my shipping handle was all over the place. It made me wanna take away two extra stars so I gave a three out of five. The food is like any other fish food you know smells like fish. Food storage is really good. Is one of them instead of being like a baby wipe container where is just a lift and get a rely on if it's actually secure all the way when it comes to closing or not, that's not. The move is pretty soft at the same time. I recommend you do it. You do pick up with your fingers but also count as well because it does tend to stick to your natural oil that's on your skin and it will pick up more than you ever think you don't wanna overfeed the fish. because that can lead to complications as well floating fish in a tank.
They pellets do not float and just go to bottom where my goldfish can not eat between the rocks.
