I am very happy with this filter. I have a 65 gal with African cichlids that eat very messy. This filter unit works great and is very powerful. I have had many tanks and many filters over the years and this one is better then my others that cost 3 to 4 times the amount. I'd recommend this filter for anyone who has a 55 gal or larger tank. Unit is strong and well made. I added a charcoal filter bag behind the filters for extra cleaning. Great product.
keeps em clean and filtered does the job well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product performs really good and isn't super noisy if you have your water on higher level currently I don't got my water level high so sound noisy but it not when I got my tank full . It was super easy to set up and seem good material and performance. Also have my tank looking good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son squirted soap in our fish tank and killed all our fish- but as soon as we get a new one we are pumped to use this filter to keep our tank cleaner and healthier for our little fish friends! Love the size and easy setup!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fish filter is extremely quiet and does a great great job cleaning my fish tank. It is leak proof and also has a lifetime warranty. It is used for a 20 gallon tank. You can replace the filters and the cartridge easily. It is very simple to use and just plug it in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Aqueon QuietFlow 10 for a couple weeks now, and it's a solid addition to my 20-gallon setup. Here's a quick breakdown of my experience: The name doesn't lie. Once the water level is correct, this thing is nearly silent. No annoying humming or buzzing, which is a huge plus since my tank is in the living room. Easy Setup: It's basically "plug and play." The internal pump design means it self-primes, so I didn't have to worry about manually filling it with water to get it started after a power flicker. Water Clarity: My water has stayed crystal clear. The LED indicator on the top is a nice touch—it flashes when the filter is clogged, taking the guesswork out of maintenance. Why not 5 stars? The replacement cartridges can be a bit pricey over time, and the flow rate is fixed. I wish there was a small knob to adjust the strength of the current, as it's a bit strong for my long-finned Betta, but for most community fish, it's perfect.
Just been using for 2 weeks . So far so good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very easy to install, outside of a few pieces that need to be put in place it comes mostly ready to go. It is very strong and kept the tank clean, but it doesn't have an adjustable flow rate and was a little strong for my fish. It was packaged really well. It is a little large for smaller tanks, so I would recommend only getting it for 30-50 gallons. Overall, it is pretty quiet and does a good job. It would be nice to be able to adjust the flow.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Aqueon QuietFlow 20 works well for both freshwater and saltwater tanks and keeps the water clear with steady filtration. It's mostly quiet and easy to set up, which is great for everyday use. However, it can sometimes get noisy if air gets trapped, and replacement cartridges can be a bit pricey. I received this product free from Influenster for my honest review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried out the Aqueon Pro Quietflow 10 water filter for my aquarium. The filter is easy to install, and it moves a good volume of water for its size. However, the filter has a significant design flaw. The short filter tube extends straight below the filter housing where the outlet is located. This design puts the inlet and outlet too close together which results in poor water circulation on the far side of the tank. In addition, the inlet tube is too short, leaving the inlet about midway in the tank instead of placing it in the substrate as is typically done. These two issues limit its effectiveness in filtering the tank. Both problems could be fixed by replacing the stiff inlet pipe with a longer flexible tube. I had a couple of minor concerns as well. First, while the pump is quiet, the cover rattles. It should snap securely into place instead of just resting on top of the filter housing. Second, the instructions need to be more detailed. When I pulled the pump out of the package, the bio media filter and specialty filter pad fell out. The installation instructions did not explain how to insert these items. I had to guess by looking at the product picture.
