Aqua-Tech Ultra Quiet Power Filter, For Aquariums 20-40 Gallons

Noise level is great, just make sure your tank is topped up, once it starts to waterfall it gets louder. Good power level output, Cartridge is fine but I would recommend instead getting a biobag and simply rinsing it with tank water. Fine for fish or turtles. Filter intake may need to be cleaned off often depending on how messy your fish/turtles are.

The silicone part came weird so it oeaks a bit of water but if i put it a certain way it works fine.....apart from that its amazing, it does its job and has a great strong flow. Also wasnt so noisy.

I have always had good luck with Aqua-tech-- some of which lasted me over 10 years. I don't find any noisier than any other brand, and I like that it is simple and easy to clean. The filters have carbon, but if you rinse it well, they won't turn the water black, as some others do.

Really good water flow and I was able to put some plants in the top of the filter which is cool. I would have loved for it to come with a sponge insert for the intake as the grate is still pretty large for shrimp and guppy fry…

Good power but the water overflows the top because it doesn't go through the filter fast enough. This was from the beginning. I had to remove the filter that came with it. Using the filter material I buy in bulk the flows through faster stopped the overflow

This item would have been great but it was the wrong size. to large to fit in the area needed. the problem being, there was no paperwork with it i . i tried calling the store numerous times no answer So i have been stuck with it.

first time the power went out for literally 30 seconds it started whining and not working. i tried getting the air out,water levels were good,etc.

This Aqua Tech Power Filter is a piece of junk. %231 It leans back when positioning it onto the tank. %232 The pieces are so cheaply made that they will not stay connected. %233 The power flow is just a trickle. I have always purchased this brand and was very disappointed in the overall quality and will be returning.

I actually purchased two of these at the same time to use in my tank together. Neither one worked. The water would not flow through the filter it came back out on the side the intake tube is on. No cleaning at all. Huge waste of money. I had to run locally And buy one because I had planned these two coming in the mail with the arrival of some new fish I ordered delivered for the next day. Not a good item at all
