well I like them but I got the roung ones I purchased the fish tank with the pump from Walmart and now I can't find the filters anywheres that fits the pump so I purchase these ones and now I got to purchase the pump

I always worry when I receive a product and it's not in an original package. Doesn't come in the usual outer box, just wrapped in plastic wrap. These fit my %232 filter just fine. I do have issues with the consistency of the cartilages, some are fat cottony stuff and others are so thin there's barely any floss. Also the amount of charcoal pieces inside of it, again, some has a lot of charcoal bits others barely any. So are these considered seconds not good enough to be sold under normal sells? I just find this odd. but as long as my fish and plants are doing ok I guess this is OK to buy since in store products of this size are next to impossible to find.

The filters were not in a product box. Not sure if they were used or not .
