Archway Oatmeal Cookies, 9.5 oz Bag

I grew up eating Archway cookies, with oatmeal raisin consistently being my favorite variety. Upon finding them available here, I experienced a strong sense of nostalgia and promptly placed an order, eagerly anticipating their arrival. To summarize my experience, I found that the cookies remain fresh and soft, much as I remember. However, they are not identical to those I enjoyed in childhood. The taste has changed in a way I cannot precisely identify, and they are now significantly sweeter. Previously, one of the most appealing qualities of Archway cookies was their moderate sweetness, which appears to have increased.

Ordered 5 boxes for my 84 yr old mom. She loves these soft Archway oatmeal cookies. Can't find these in our local grocery stores. Online was the only way to get them. Glad Walmart still sells them at a great price. Free shipping sweetened the deal!

I purchased these for my wife who loves oatmeal cookies but not Oatmeal with raisins. They are very tasty and soft. You only get 8 cookies per box.

Delivery was prompt and I'm very pleased with that. However, the cookies I ordered were not the same ones that were delivered. I order these for an elderly relative and she doesn't want the icing. Only 1 of the 6 boxes was the classic soft oatmeal without the icing.

These oatmeal cookies are simple, tasty, goodness. I have ordered these from this site a number of times, shipped to me with the cookie boxes packed together within another box for delivery. This time, someone in their wisdom, thought it prudent to pack these food products in a bag for delivery. The result being that the cookie boxes were damaged, most likely from being dropped or having bigger boxes fall on them. It happens during delivery - I know this first hand being a former UPS driver. I cannot always be helped, but the risk can be mitigated - especially for something like this. This was not wise, and shows a lack of concern for quality work.

I used to LOVE the cookies when I was in college. I would heat one up, pour myself a small glass of milk - and it was heaven. Tasted better than most homemade oatmeal cookies. Tried them again for the first time in over a decade. Awful. Cookie tasted stale and bland. No hint of molasses, didn't even have the texture of an oatmeal cookie. Super disappointed.

I ordered these cookies because I love oatmeal cookies and adore a softer cookie. These were not soft at all! I inspected the box and bag to ensure there were no holes and there weren't but for whatever reason, they were not chewy and the taste was subpar. Considering all of this, it was a waste of money. I threw most away because they couldn't be salvaged. So disappointing.
