Arctic King 5000 BTU (5000 BTU DOE) 150 Sq Ft Window Air Conditioner with Remote, White

Love this AC unit- we bought three of them for our house and have been using them for a couple of weeks. We have them in our master bedroom and two upstairs offices. My fiancé told me the other day that he had to shut it off for a little bit because it got too cold! So if you need a good AC for a better deal, I would recommend this one.

Normally I buy the 5k GE air conditioners because it's a brand name I trust. They've always done a good job. But this time they were out and only had Artic King. I spent the extra $30 for digital controls because I don't like mechanical controls. Let me tell you... this Artic King is more like an Artic GOD! The fan is WAY stronger than the GE models and the directional controls push air flow WAY better than the spin style on the GE models. I don't have a huge bedroom. Roughly 10x15. But this unit cooled the room down quick out of the box. My wife has to stay cool because of her anxiety and this unit is awesome. I will never buy another GE again if Artic King is available. Well worth the $$ for what you get.

Id recommend this air conditioner. It keeps my tiny studio very comfortable. I love that it comes with a remote to adjust the temperature and or mode as necessary. The best part is, it wont kill your electric bill, set it on a temperature thats comfortable for you , click the energy saver button ... and the ac unit will only run when it needs to . I love it! Has made my apartment so comfortable.

Our bedroom is about 300 sq. Ft. And this works perfectly! In less than an hour the room is freezing when all of the settings are on high. It also automatically turns on Energy Saver which is nice. Installation was extremely easy all we used was one screw driver.

I have a smaller two bedroom apartment. each room on opposite sides. Put one in my room and one in spare room. keeps whole apartment cool. Not cold, but surely feels great when I come in. These things are amazing.

I have had and used my brand new out of the box unit about 1 month. My black lightweight Artic King 5000 btu window a/c came with a WHITE 6' cord, sleek black remote, 2 black side attachments, black foam insulation and no manual. The plug has reset and test buttons and a green light. (I guess a red light would not be a good thing). My unit is plugged into a 110v outlet. Mounted in window. Installation was very easy. Seems to handle 11x12 room ok. Love that I can turn on and off with remote.

my husband and I bought this for our living area. we have it on the lowest setting and it doesn't even get cold. it blows more like a fan. I am very disappointed with this purchase.
