Works as expected. A crack developed in a hose underneath the kitchen sink which flooded our kitchen floor and cabinet. Thank goodness we were home and had this shop vac in the garage because it helped to remove the water quickly and wasn't hard to dump the tank when it was full. Argh - what a flipping nightmare. Also anyone living on coastal area of Florida should have at least one shop vac just in case handy for emergencies. Yes I would definitely recommend this shop vac!
Purchased this on a whim given the price to clean my vehicle. I have 2 dogs so it's always difficult at the car wash due to the lack of attachments. 10/10 recommend, it had a ton of attachments and worked fantastic! Usually it takes me about 2 hours at the car wash, with this, it took about 30-40 mins!
This is the best product you can ever get. It sucks the water and it just vacuums way better than these upright, vacuum cleaner cleaners the only thing I wish that it had more attachments where you can use it as a regular vacuum, it needs to have an extended arm attachment, but other than that, I give it a 10 out of 10 this is the best product ever
This is one powerful little shop vac. To say I'm impressed is putting it lightly. I use it for detailing vehicles and this does better than any other vacuum I've ever used. The suction on this and the assembly…just wow. I can't get over it. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. It's not hard to assemble at all!!!
I needed something that could pick up both spills (wet) and dirt (dry) along with other items such as nails, screws, pebbles, that you wouldn't want to use your regular vacuum cleaner on. It doesn't hold as much liquid as you might need, but for the overall size, its great. I am able to address water spills on the basement. I am also able to clean the corners of the basement which could have objects on the ground that could damage a conventional vacuum. I havent used all the attachments, and I realize this is meant for car use to clean/detail. If you want something for small spills and/or messes, this is a great option and price. If you need it for your workshop, you might need one with a larger compacity.
Did my research on this last night on YouTube was looking for a small portable vac for my vehicle and this does the job great small can hold it with one hand and get into tight spots that's harder with the bigger shop vacs. I have a 55gal one too and i actually prefer this for the size and portability. Plus all the small attachments it comes with works great can vacuum all the tight spots like up on the dash by the window get all the small bugs they fly into your vehicle lol
I got this item because I had just got a new car and water wasted in the back of the car and I need to get it up as quickly as possible. This item worked so well that I was I just thought I was going to need a bigger unit, but this one was amazing. I now keep it in the back in the trunk of my car.
These have been a good shop vac for our purposes with the exception of the power switch. It is almost too easy to bump turning on or off accidently. The switch has also failed on 2 out of three units. I have replaced the switch with one of higher current rating, fits the original opening, but resides lower in the opening, preventing accidental on/off. I might also mention that the third unit I purchased has a stiff, very unmanagable cord that is very difficult to coil for storage. Overall a good product with a few quirks.
The PROs: Nice little Vac. Good vacuum power. Easy to dump out vacuumed dirt. Attachments are okay, but could be better - the vac comes with a number of small detailing attachments. Works well as a small garage vac... priced well. CONs: In my option, the hose is too short, plastic feels cheap, stiff, and not very flexible. As you work, you will need to carry the vac with you... which gets frustrating as you try to position the vac in and around your work area.
The product is fine as it stands but it's way to small and the cord is way too short. Unless you have a plug near your car or a plug adapter you're not going to go far even with it in the garage. Would recommend if there was easier plug access(in example a longer plug cord). The suction is mid to low tier at best. Even hand vacuums suck better. What it does excel at blowing so no issues there.
