Yay! Stainless steel bowl! Thank you Aroma for that. I tried this cooker and I added 1/2 cup of rice and couple hand full of broccoli and frozen vegetables mix in, with a little bit of water. Next time I'd put my alarm on to like 15 minutes and If the rice is cooked, I'd just turn it off from the wall before the automatic turn off, so to avoid over cooking. Cute nice size for home or for the workplace.

I love this rice cooker. I bought it because I don’t like cooking with teflon and it’s hard to find a rice cooker that isn’t. The stainless steel basket is well- built and has a weight to it that indicated quality. The outside shell is just some simple, cheap plastic. But I don’t care about the outside, I care about the inside, and the inside is well worth the money. I’ve used it many times already. Not too sticky either, especially for a pot that isn’t non-stick.

I’ve been looking at this for months and I’m so glad that I bought it. I just really like this stainless steel insert. The rice came out perfect I don’t like it mushy and my expectations were met. I recommend this item not only for the quality, the ease of cooking up my rice (or heating up soup?) and you set it and walk away: talk about convenience. I got the smaller one that holds 3.5 cups. Enjoy folks. I will… no more gluten so rice is a new staple.

Needed a nice small little rice cooker, this is perfect for me and my boyfriend. Our other rice cooker was from aldi and it was too big and always burned the bottom but this is perfect and it’s stainless steel. I prefer to avoid non-stick so that was a big plus for me.

The 304 Stainless Steel inner pot on these is definitely worth the additional cost above the cheaper "non-stick" surface of the less expensive models. After a couple years of use, the "non-stick" surface starts to flake off - and you end up eating it! Considering that these cookers last 10 or 15 years, you'll only pay about $1/year more for the Stainless model. Food-prep surfaces in restaurants are made from 304 S.S. Shouldn't the ones in your kitchen be that quality also?

Love that this is a stainless steel pot which is nice and heavy and much healthier than the non stick aluminum pan. Love that the handles have billed on both sides where you can place the rice spoon into it and not need a spoon rest to lay the spoon down during use. The only thing that would make this a 5 star is if it came with a steamer tray and the price is $10 less for the size that it is. Other than that, great quality and style. Definitely recommend this rice cooker.

I love this NO Teflon/Non-Stick all STEEL Cooker (except Handles Plastic %26 top-Glass) even outer housing is STEEL. I Despise Teflon Non-Stick Coatings. People who complain about Cast Iron %26 Steel Cookware sticking food - THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO COOK. I haven't used this yet, however I tested functionality with water - It heats up good %26 quickly boils water (add some salt to get a Rolling-Boil). My only problem with this - NO OFF Switch/Auto-ShutOff, it stays on. It can be switched to warm, gotta be mindful of it the same as Gas Stoves.

I really like the stainless steel bowl. I am trying to stay away from Teflon and plastic. It gets the job done! Makes rice while you work on other things. No need to bbsit it to keep it from boiling over. Automatically turns to warm setting once it is done.

My order for an Aroma stainless rice cooker was substituted for an Aroma plastic coated rice cooker. I sent it back already since the entire reason I purchased this rice cooker was because of the “stainless” component and I didn’t receive the right model

First time use it did not shut off. Burned the rice and now will not turn on. I’m assuming it blew itself up. I loved the stainless steel pot but did not hold up.
