I bought this as a gift for my daughter. As a PacAsian, it's not the best when it comes to cooking rice but at least it does the job and she wanted to cook soups and stuff in it. So long as she and the kids are happy and use it til the wheels fall off, it was definitely a great price for the overall happiness and use it brings to her.

It's wonderful. The rice comes out perfect, but not only that, you can add any other ingredient you want in your rice. It's a great little steamer, or for soup. I love it . 5

Easy to clean and easy to put away. Depending on how much rice you want during your meal, can feed a small family with one cooking, but it doesn't take long to make each batch if you have a larger family.

I like gadgets.It makes small amounts. Kinda like a small slow cooker. Still have to watch it. Love the fish recipe and mac and cheese, only the next time I will make the mac and cheese with a white sauce instead of cream cheese. I didn't like that the recipes didn't say you need to watch to see if it's done. It will keep cooking until the water is gone, like an egg cooker. 7 cheesea white sause instead ofn

We love this little rice cooker. It's great because it's simple to use. The box includes all the measuring tools you need to make enough rice for up to 2 people as well as a steam pan. We have used it since January and it serves well as a couple. I can also easily make a single serving in it if I want. It would be too small to make enough rice for a crowd so we use our Instant for that.

It is small, easy to use and the rice seems to cook perfectly each time. My only downgrade is that I make it in the morning and take it to work, but when I open the container, it has an odd smell to the rice. I haven't been able to figure out why this smell happens. Overall, I use it almost everyday and I like how quickly my lunch is prepared.

When I was making the rice pudding I went by there instructions as it was cooking it was cooking out of the holes in the lid what a mess on my counter so I am taking it back

Save your money, you can get the same sticky wallpaper paste rice if you use your own saucepan. I followed the procedures for cooking rice to the "LETTER" and wound up with the same sticky paste rice I get by using my saucepan. Cleaning this item is a nightmare, every crevice and corner must be dried out or cleaned. Have to take the gasket off of the lid, vent opening, and other areas must be cleaned and dried to prevent mold and other bacteria from forming. A saucepan with a good lid saves time and money. Don't fall for the commercial ads, Like I said save your money, this item is the biggest joke out there. Using this item with minimal cleaning WILL make you sick.

Used this rice cooker 2 times. Got everything set up to use for third time and unit started, then immediately shut off. Could not get unit to reset. moved it yo a different outlet and still nothing. Have to locate receipt through app, box item and return it. Might be easier tobtry another brand.
