Pleasant City Caribbean Market needed an additional coffee pot warmer to manage increase in customers requests. It was an excellent choice and successfully managed the increase in coffee requests.
This hotplate is absolutely wonderful. I have only one complaint, and that is if you put a pot of water on to boil, the water never bubbles, so you dont hear it boiling even though it does boil, and it is easy to forget you even put it on the hotplate, until the water completely evaporates. Perhaps the hotplate should have some kind of alarm built into it, to occasionally remind you it is on. The ease of cooking and cleanup, and how quickly it cools down, makes this hot plate a dream to work with. I highly recommend it, but advise close supervision, and perhaps setting an alarm to remind one that it is on.
I bought this to avoid turning on the stove in my kitchen during Summer months when possible. It heats up pretty quickly. I like the iron top instead of having a coil because I think it's easier to clean. Definitely follow the instructions and heat it up once or twice before your 1st cooking use, to get rid of the initial burn smell.
I ordered this for store pickup to do some hotel bathroom cooking for my family at a conference where breakfast costs $25 each. A test run got two cups of water boiling seven minutes after I turned it on. The unit was level and stable on the counter and the thermostat worked as it should.
This is my second Aroma hot plate. It heats up quickly and keeps my tea kettle the perfect temperature. Highly recommelnd this product and received excellent service.
Worked well within my expectations. I do like that it powers up and down so food does not burn. This is my 2nd one with the first one lasting quite some time.
I use this to melt my wax for candles, I love it!
This single burner is great for its price. I just moved into an efficiency and this product is a perfect remedy for my kitchen-less home. So far, I've only made pancakes, fried eggs, and cooked shrimps on it, but it has worked flawlessly in all those instances. Unfortunately it doesn't mark the temperature it is heating up to, which would be useful for certain cases. However, overall, it is a very good product for the affordable price.
Beware when you purchase this. It don't get hot enough to boil potatoes ( I tried 4 medium ones). Good concept, will not buy one again. It took it 30 minutes just to come to a boil for beans
Although this has 2 burners , the ways it's designed, you really have to work to balance two pots / pans on them as one time, as the eyes are too close together. Once you do precariously set two pans , you crank up the heat and …. Wait. And then wait some more. It's takes FOREVER to boil a pot of water, I hate when I have to use this because of how long it takes to cook anything. And it gets even worse if you are needing to use both burners together at the same time. I've had it for a few months and hardly ever use it , but it just took me over 45 mins to boil 2 lbs of elbow macaroni noodles and that reminded me to write a review. I' just ordered a different brand and model , my suggestion would be to pass on this one if you don't want dinner to unnecessarily take an additional hour to hour and half.
