IMUSA Single Electric Burner, Black

Haven't used yet but this brand %26 model were chosen by the PBS channel cooking show America's Test Kitchen as the best low cost one AND it was $2 less than expected! Thanks Walmart!

Imusa electric burner has been very useful and easy to use. For a low cost burner, I've been pleasantly surprised about the quality. Stays sturdy on the counter and doesn't slide around . I usually use this on the low setting so I don't get the large burst of heat. If I use the medium or high setting, I need to watch closely to make sure it doesn't over cook. It is a small, economical burner so don't expect a lot of features. Recommended.

It does what it's meant for. Heats up quick. Easy to clean. I use baby wipes to clean mine. If it's safe on babies, it'll be safe enough for my appliances. The only bad thing is that it does have a short plug. So you will need an extension cord.

Needed this product for dental lab. Need to boil out wax. From plaster molds. Works great ! Got to boil water in less than an hour and that's with a huge pot with good fitting lid. Next time I need to boil water fast I will start with warm water. Only disadvantage is shot cord and had to use extension cord.

Works great. has a safety feature that it wont stay hot for to long. if you want to boil water. start on low. it will heat then turn off. turn the tenp up. keep repeating till boils

Light , flimsy feel. The coils go through two holes into the base. The coil moves up and down half inch. The instructions say this is for cleaning the drip pan. MY WORRY is that heavy pots will catch on this loose coil, maybe tip, maybe damage the hotplate. I also worry this loose construction will pull loose the electrical wires inside. Too much trouble and cost for me to return. Hope it lasts a month (read reviews) then I will try a different brand. YIKES! I hate poor quality control of appliances!

cheap item, I bought this twice and the second time I added insurance to it and both stopped working within 5 months. it was hard trying to get a replacement from statefarm, the insurance as well as Walmart. good luck when purchasing this item, I do not recommend!

Smelled funny when I turned it on. It wouldn't stay on for more than ten seconds at a time. Unusable

it it worked for a very short period of time and then stop working all together then to get it returned to get a new one I had to go to FedEx cuz we don't have a FedEx near us and I don't have a car if I ended up losing both the money and the item not acceptable and item that worked less than a week
