Very absorbent. If Hydrating I recommend going to the bathroom every 30 minutes whether you feel like you need to or not. They are super absorbent but try not to test it or not. Best to wear darker jeans, slacks and shorts with the item. Carry a good towel in the car as well. There's a lot of experience involved with this item...
Overall, the fit, smell, pull are an improvement from the Target branded briefs that provide 15 less in their own packaging. This Assurance brand fits snugly, doesn't have the strong scent that the other brand mentioned does. I don't use these briefs for the bladder functioning, so won't write anything for that.
Cheaper than others, my grandfather feels manly in the grey underwear (which means it helps his self esteem) this empowers him mentally and thus keeps him active. The absorbency is great it holds a lot. The design is easy and straightforward compared to other brands. Comfort and convience. Does not show under clothes like some diapers. Overall a good product.
The best value for the money that I have found. However when this product was recently changed (color was also changed from white to gray) these adult "pull ups" begin to come apart. Fine, but strong individual strings separate from the garment after a few hours. These strings dig a bit into flesh.
Dad has a hard time finding the size marker to identify the front from the back . it is a faint size stamp in black, but looks grey on grey. The last bag had only half of the size stamp because it was printed on the edge. There need to be a easy to identify waist band or black marking. When pulled down, it is hard to get ahold of the right part to pull back up because it all looks the same. For some with good eyesight and minor disability these things will not be a problem.
The product performed as expected, however, combining the large and extra large size into one product is not a good idea. For persons who may only need a large size, the extra large size leaves gaps and does not fit snugly, thus degrading its overall effectiveness
I ordered five pull up type assure men's incontinence underwear, for my father in elder Care with minimal incontinence, he only received two pull up type packages and they substituted the other three with side sticky tab type like an infant diaper so they are not like underwear that can be pulled up or down ,once you pull the tab on these they're unusable since the adhesive tears them, even if they haven't been soiled , I did not approve this substitution
they need more coverage on the back end behind area. I'm not sure why they constantly make adult diapers to where they don't cover well, or too small, or they leak. seems like the diaper makers for babies should be making the adult diapers. maybe they are.
No problem with the product. This was a repeat order, so I'm good with the product. HOWEVER-- big however--the product , while still being the same product, has not been delivered to our house AGAIN! The same thing happened with the first order, and to your credit WalMart corrected the issue and sent another order which managed to get here... thanks for that. So now we need to fix it again, right? Thanks. Dan Alverts
The shipping and/or lack of it is what I'm not happy about. I tried to set up a subscription for recurring deliveries for this item but Wal-Mart keeps screwing it up. cancelling it at the last minute and then their customer service people tell me to re order it manually, but can't tell me if the subscription is still in force or not. NOT Helpful. Maybe Amazon would be better.
