ASTRO Gaming A50 Wireless + Base Station for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 & PC - Black/Silver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this headset for my PlayStation about a year and a half ago and it still works like brand new!! I always take care of my technology well, and this headset is the easiest to handle, it's super light weight, built with good material, I like the way it feels on my head as it's super comfortable ,as I have a big head most headsets feel uncomfortable but this one just fits so perfect,I've gotten so used to the comfortableness of it that other expensive headsets feel trash and I've tried many many different headsets. The sound quality is impeccable,things you wouldn't hear on other headsets. 10 out of 10 I definitely recommend this headset, more on the expensive side but way way worth it, if you're looking for the best gaming experience I 100 percent agree that the A50 headset will be the best choice for anyone , and age

Easy to use. Easy to set up. The ear cushions are very comfortable so you shouldn't have a problem wearing these for an extended period of time. It's nice it does have the option of using other cushions though in case these don't work well for some. The sound is crisp and clear. Great for gaming and other uses with a computer as well. Would highly recommend.

These are the nicest, most durable headset I've ever owned! The ear pads are very comfortable and have a noise canceling function. You can also purchase the mod kit for them which are sold separately and are just an upgraded version of the headband and the earmuffs. I also thought that the way to mute these are really cool too. You just lift the mouthpiece up and it mutes the you. The sound quality is awesome and I've had no complains from others that you can't hear me. The charging base is very high tech and you literally just sit the headset on the prongs and they charge. The base shows the charging level and the headset pairs automatically to your pS4 when you plug them in. The only downside to this headset is that I wish they were louder, and that you cannot pair them to your phone via Bluetooth. There is a headphone prong in the back but I've never been able to get it to work on my iPhone X. They work insanely well on my ps4 though and I'm incredibly happy!

Love this gaming headset! I was kinda against gaming headsets because I felt like they only made people more distracted from their surroundings, but actually it makes for a better gaming experience and also to be able to have people coexist in the same room while doing other things. They have great sound quality and are very comfortable, easy to use and setup. I particularly like the charging base ir is not bulky, so it doesn't take up a lot of space. Like the flexibility of the mic.

Before I didn't want to spend money on headphone because I really wasn't into headphones but after getting this ones I regret spending my money on the other one this are the only headphone that should be on the market for the price it's really good the sound is amazing and just charge it once you get it and you should be cover for 8hours or so I don't play like before but this can also be used with phone for music

Prior to purchasing our first Astro headset (A40 wired) we only used Turtle Beach headsets. Our two boys kept breaking them. So we started buying them cheaper headsets and got ourselves (husband and I) the Astro A40. Years later and our boys are older and more responsible, so we decided they could have our Astro set since we were getting this A50 wireless set. First off, Astro packaging is amazing. You have your main box with key points and a photo of what you're getting. Then, there is another box inside, which we are keeping to store the headset, as the graphics are pretty cool and the box is sturdy, easy open and close. Having a wireless headset makes all the difference. I was always anti wireless and I haven't a clue as to why. Having the base station for these is so convenient. They hold their charge. They're are so comfortable. A little heavier than a Turtle Beach set, but the foam around the ears and at the top of the head makes them super comfortable. They don't start to hurt after an hour of playing. I like how easy they are to adjust, they glide with ease. The buttons are easy to figure out and the flip up mic for muting is quick to use. If you're in the market for serious sound, comfort and quality, these work so well with both our Playstation and Computer. Definitely recommend!

Do you want to feel like you're at the movie theater when you're sitting on your own couch in your living room? Then these are the headphones for you! They're very comfortable in your ears and the microphone works great. The charging base is pretty cool, it's magnetic so the headphones stick right in place. The only con of these headphones is that everybody around you can hear everything that you're listening to, even when they're not at full volume.

The A50 base station with wireless headphones are a great addition to my PS4/PS5 and will also work with my PC! I was really impressed with the sound quality and how comfortable the ear muffs fit! They work really good with the exception of my PC (sound isn't as loud as PS4/PS5) The base staion is nice and you just lay the headphones on the charging staion but make sure the contacts line up, sometimes it is difficult to do! I have not had some problems with mine that others have had, but there is a download to clarify the problem! I have used them as well as my grand children and we have had no problems with them after the initial setup, and placing them on the base to properly charge! The set will mute when the mic is lifted and that is a nice function! They are a bit pricey but a good buy for the money!

My first thought was cheap. Felt and looked cheap. The fabric on ear muffs is soft but hot. My ears were sweating. Instructions are unclear and I had a hard time getting them to sync to my ps4. Packaging is a bit over the top. Box in a box in a box. The box is nice but overkill. Could be much smaller. Seems more money was put into packaging design than head phones. Sound is okay but I couldn't get my microphone to work. I could hear them but they couldn't hear me. Not real impressed with this set.

I was very disappointed with this purchase. I bought two headsets, and both arrived in damaged boxes. One of them had a broken headband that fell off immediately after I tried to place it. The other one works, but both have visible scratches and dings, making them look used instead of new. Neither headset came in its original packaging, and the cables were just thrown in carelessly. For products that cost over $200 each, this is unacceptable.
