I live in an apartment and my Heat Pump Died and I went without heat for 27 days. Management kept sending Techs to try and get blood out of the 22 to 23 years old Turnip, I had to call housing. Anyways, the techs had these Laser Temp Guns, so I got one too. I take the temperature of the air coming out the vents. I also check the temps on everything!!! Great Product and Easy to Use. People said it's hard to get to the battery, NO!!! They have the Problem, not the Product. I got into it with Ease. Buy This!!!

it is so very easy to use just point and it tells you the temp instantly. I'm not sure if battery life but it is just a9 volt battery and that is easy to change out.

I liked it a lot. It took time to open the battery department, but I figure it out. It's real easy to use you just point and the laser comes on and you could tell different temperatures for the price. It wasn't too bad.

I've had one before, gave to my sister. Thought I could do with out. No. Check pan temperature, if you want to cook below a boil on a slow cook it'll tell you where you're at, and many more uses.

I have no complaints best thermometer I have bought so far if you are a reptile breeder, or deal with any thing where temperatures need to be at an exact temp, for the price this is hands down a great buy.

I can't figure out how to open the battery door; the instruction manual doesn't display where that is, nor how to open it; I had to come back to the product listing to see images of where the battery door is, but, sadly, I cannot open it still. I have pressed into both indentations as once as hard as I can, and then with my other hand tried to pry it open and down, but it will not budge. Thank God I don't need to use it right away cuz I'd be in deep trouble! I wish you all would post up a video showing how to open it. If seller can let me know that would be great, I don't want to have to buy some other brand that doesn't have this problem (I hope it doesn't!).

Do I feel dumb. Instructions say to “open the battery door and insert a 9 volt battery” (which btw is provided) Photos show where the battery power icon is, but not where the battery door is. On the long handle there are indentations on either side of the trigger so I'm assuming this is where the battery goes. But good luck opening it!! I did manage to open slightly before it snapped shut and I'm afraid I'll break the whole handle if I forcibly pry it open. No where does it tell you where this battery goes. Can somebody make me feel smart again.

I can't recommend this product because i bought it thinking it would tell me the internal temp of meat. I bought 2 of them as gifts for my kids and was disappointed that the description doesn't tell you it is not an internal temp for meat reading.

I bought two of these and they are used. There is no way to calibrate them. Why would anyone sale this item without calibrating them first. Absolutely ridiculous.
