I have had the motherboard for years and have not had to troubleshoot or nothing. It's served well and still gonna keep going. I went with this one cause of Linus tech tips.
I think it is a great MOBO and the white/silver tone makes it even better. one of the best things is that its also Ryzen 5000 series ready out of the box. my only issue is that it is a little pricey but I would still recommend buying it even for that little bit more, its worth it.
ASUS for the Win. Every MOBO that comes to this house is ASUS. Only brand I trust!
Easy install. Looks very nice in the custom built Pc I did. A couple months in and runs great.
Wish I would have gotten the WiFi version but it's good for the price
Has been running for a while now doing great. Easy to install.
Much better than my previous b450 asrock board, allows me to run my ram at full speed no problem, easy to wire up and quite sleek looking.
Solid Board with all the needed options. Really happy with what this board offers in the middle of the road price point. AMD B550 is a great choice especially for the integration of CPUs with graphics capabilities. Plays all the games in 1080P with NVME Gen4. Great bang for your buck if GPU prices are out of reach.
This is one of the best made and best functioning motherboard I have ever owned...........and I have owned a lot of them. This is an upgrade from my former ASUS board, a B450-F Gaming which is still going strong by the way. I only upgrade to the B55o-A because I wanted PCIe 4.0 capability. I highly recommend this board to any serious gamer.
I didn't buy this board for gaming, wanting only a big boost in performance and the ability to tweak a little if need be. It seems anything worthwhile at this price point is targeted at gamers, not for recording/mixing dense, digital audio, video production or graphic design. Also, your OS had better be very current or, as in my case, you're going to have trouble getting it fully operational. Fortunately, I was able to upgrade easily so it's all good now, but not without stressful frustration. Finally, all the extra sidecar apps don't add any real benefit, phone home constantly and use resources one shouldn't waste... I've nuked all of them. With the new SSD drives it finally crossed the finish line nicely, but not before jumping all the hurdles. But then, I'm not a gamer.
