Athletic Works Adjustable Squat Rack

This is a good purchase for women who are working out at home. Not ideal for men. For reference, I am 5'6” and 160lbs. The height and weight capacity of the rack is perfectly aligned with my height and weight. I'm not going over 250 (yet!). I think the rack would do well with up to 315. Worthwhile investment. When you're done with it, you can pass it on to your kids. So a perfect rack for women and children.

Exactly what I was looking for. This rack has an adjustable height and width, so I can extend it for my workout and collapse it down when not in use. My original shipment was pretty beat up by the delivery service, and one part was damaged. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement part. They were easy to work with and quick. I'm excited about this purchase and the ability to add more variety to my workouts.

This rack is a steel and it's absolutely worth the money I would be a little hesitant to put the amount of weight that they have indicated that it would hold, I use it strictly for bench press and I put a cement blocks on the back part of the legs so that there's no chance of movement otherwise it's very well built very sturdy well worth the money, you won't find anything close for that kind of money

Can't beat this rack for the price!! Sturdy enough for me as a female just starting resistance training. My only complaint is the assembly instructions are not very clear. Still was able to figure it out fairly easily. Would recommend.

The product was exactly what the description said it would be. I received my package when it said I would and the setup was easy. The product is very sturdy and durable so far! I love it!

not bad especially for the price. fairly sturdy and straightforward to assemble. i like that it does come with safety arms, which i use to bench press off since the lowest setting on the rack is still a little bit high. recommended to use a 7ft Olympic bar. the lowest width setting is still a bit wide. all in all, not bad for the price until i upgrade my home gym with a half rack or full rack.

Not the best, not the worst. The rack is decent for our needs however with heavier weight on the bar the rack is wobbly. Not stable. The moveable rack arms easily come off in the middle of lifting if you bump them on accident. Need someone there with you if lifting just in case.

The assembly is not very easy. They do not provide wrench or bolt tightner needed for assembly. It is not something one person can do. Will need at least two people for assembly. The parts were not labeled and it would helped the parts numbers were written on the parts. The assembly instructions are also not well written. I have many assemblies and this was one of the worst ones. Not extra screws or bolts provided. So if you lose one you are stuck. Overall pretty bad experience.

I would not recommend this seller... but I do recommend this item. I bought this squat rack because it was on sale... whereas when I outgrow it as a squat rack because it adjusts to a narrow base I will still be able to use it as a station for ez curl and specialty bars...also, something to set up landmine exercises (making it easier to load and unload weight plates). My experience with this purchase and delivery, seems to be a problem with either Walmart or the distributor. I did not receive a new product as advertised I received something that was loose parts as if someone disassembled their used exercise equipment through it in their largest box nothing wrapped taped it up put a shipping label on it and then shipped it out to my home two days late. because nothing was secured in the box and the box was probably 80% too big the items must have been bouncing around like loose pennies in a big jar... everything has nicks in the finish and all the nuts washers and bolts were loose in the box which I was short enough washers to finish the build. there was no marketing from what I believe is an original package nor was there any instructions... it truly feels as if someone took their workout equipment at home apart put it in a big box and shipped it to my home. Being made a metal quality and functionality is kind of hard to mess up, Athletic Works, isn't a premium manufacturer workout equipment but they are a professional one and typically do a wonderful job at making functional equipment that bring a lot of value for dollar. it is hard for me to believe that this product that was sent to my home was something that was fit and finished at a manufacturer of Athletic Works and that this was likely a return that was resold and shipped to my home. When assembled my faith in Athletic Works was confirmed (so I'm keeping the equipment)... but disappointed in Walmart and or the seller who shipped this to my home in the state it was in. This had nothing to do with the shipping company this had everything to do with the people that sent it and sold it to me.

This has been in pieces on my floor because when we assembled it we realized we given a wrong piece a left that should have been a right and it was backwards. It was a gift so we couldn't return it by the time it was opened up. Very unhappy.
