my doctor told me I was old and grip strength was an indicator of life expectancy. I bought these because they were cheap and I'm cheap. They are extremely well-made. they will last way longer than I I will last. I gave them to my son because I can barely close them. They're not adjustable which means they won't break, but they're too tight for me. So I'll get a cheapie plastic one and try to make that work. But if you're young and healthy, this will definitely work for you.

My strength is not what it used to be. I got these to help rebuild it and these either have an awesome spring or I am slipping more than I thought. I like that you can hold closer to the ends to make them harder also. I can squeeze them fully about half the days. Have a long way to go!

These are far easier and more comfortable to grip than the ones I had many years ago. The tension is stronger than I recall, but that gives a lot of room to grow. The construction seems very solid with good steel and good grips. I like to flip them in rotation to give some adjustment in the muscles being used.

Well made, and markedly better than the cheaper versions.. The grip strength is a little stronger than anticipated, but I'm a senior. Still easily usable for me and definitely will help me to regain my grip. I use them everyday while watching TV or talking on the phone. I still haven't forgotten how my hand clutch Harley gave me strength in the left hand. This time around it's for rheumatism and grip strength. The size is great for my large hands and the dense foam covering of the grips spares my now tender skin from the pressures of use. They're definitely a good buy.

Just what my son was wanting. He said they work great. I tried to use them and could not get them to budge. I used both hands and still nothing. So if you are hand strength is not good these are not for you. My son was able to work them with one finger so if you want something to keep you going these will work. He also enjoyed watching me try vs him with the one finger so I guess they could be entertaining to see which family and friends can actually use them.

Stronger grip than I expected. I am using daily and already have more strength in my left hand which was affected by a Stroke.

I bought to work with my hand grip. Getting older I am not as strong as once was. I would recommend.

I purchased this because I need to increase my strength and grip. these tools are too hard to move at all.

The grip is set at medium and i would say a high medium about 30 out of 60. if you arenolder or have a weak grip this will not work and you will want t9nonvest i t eh adjustable. Vue for the money is there and you can work thenstrength up but the adjustable ones come with a counter and you cna adjust them so i wouldnt recommend wasting your money on these other then having a cheap, emergency backup pair.

The product is very well made and is designed to get the job done when it comes to hand exercises. Unfortunately the resistance on this product is too much for an elderly person to use. I purchased this product to help my 81 yr old dad do daily hand exercises but its too difficult for him to grip and squeeze.
