Attwood 5009-4 Black Heavy Duty Adjustable Rod Holder

I find that these are the most sturdy and durable compared to any other all plastic rod holders. I have tried some of the other brands from other big name stores and they are flimsy and aren't good to use for trolling white bass.

As soon as you unpack the Atwood Rod Holder, you notice its solid heavy-duty construction. The multi hole base allows both side or top mount and the swing lock holds any rod securely in place. I used SS screws to secure the base to my piling and with nothing to rust; it should last for many years. An Extra base, sold separate, allows me to relocate the holder with ease.

I purchased two of these to use on my friend's boat. As the description states, they do come with the mounting brace however you have to supply your own screws. The brace is made so that you can mount it on top or on the side of a flat surface. I mounted one each way. After fishing a couple of times he bought two more. You can face them in any direction and degree of angle. I don't know how long they will last but for now they work great.

I wouldn't Crappie fish without these, their quick and easy to get a fishing pole out of when needed. Easy to adjust to any angle and very sturdy. Simply put, Attwood pole holders are the best money can buy.
