Basically just mount them on your kayak and snap your paddle in when you're fishing. It's that simple. When you mount them on your kayak, have the paddle snapped into the clips so they line up straight when you drill the holes. Make sure you consider the positioning carefully before you mount them so the paddle doesn't interfere with your fishing or movement. Takes less than half hour to install.

Holds 1" dia. handles very tightly. Use mine for paddles, fish net, "man hook" and gaff. Comes with stainless hardware. This is a good product.

It's a terrific product... No more paddling with my hands to fish my oar out of the water!

We've purchased three sets of these clips for use on our pontoon boat. One for the paddle, one for dip net and one for ladder, they work great.

Works Ok, easy to install but the opening is a little ridged.

Turns out My paddle was too big to use these.

I'm sure they are fine but did not fit my paddle, I will have return them.

Unfortunately, this product was recommended by Walmart as a "buy together and save" product. The problem is that they don't fit the paddles provided with the kayak they were recommended for. If you are going to recommend a product .... take the time to make sure it is compatible with what the customer is buying.

My broom doesn't even fit in these. Junq

not the size that they are labeled. stamped "one (1)" inch, actually are .750 (3/4) inch. second time I purchases these clips,----- first purchase are stamped "1' inch and are correct as labeled, second not so much!
