I've been like a kid in a candy store. Shredding everything in sight! No problems so far and I literally had a 33 gallon hefty trash bag full after my first use. Word of Advice: put a grocery bag inside the bin, otherwise you'll end up with shredded papers everywhere.
It’s a fantastic shredder. It works great and it’s a fantastic price. I highly recommend.
Love using this shredder to shred everything that is mostly junk. It really does shred old credit cards.
Very good value for the money. If shredding a lot of stuff, I recommend keeping it to 4 sheets of paper at a time. I had about 500 pages to shred and it went into cool down mode after I fed it 6-7 sheets at a time for about 150 pages non-stop. I know it's not intended to be run that hard, still super happy with it.
I love this paper shredding it also shreds cards it also shreds other things too cardboard a little bit small cardboard not normal ones but also will be perfect for like if you use it for art crafts like you know it would be really useful you can use it for a lot of things to shred papers or things that you don't need like documents old documents perfect for personal and small business
I love this item itsNice and smooth and quiet its perfect size and is quite strong and holds quite a good amount of Shredding before you would need to empty it I was quite amazed at how much that it holds inside the basket and its shredding before you would need to empty it I was quite amazed at how much that it holds inside the basket and its so easy just take the top off and you can empty the basket I would definitely recommend And theres a
Past experience has taught me to practice self discipline and not shred more than the recommended number of sheets at one time. It needs to rest a bit in between batches. My last one quit when I put a credit card through it, holding the credit card in the wrong direction. So I will use scissors-not the shredder-to dispose of credit cards in the future.
Gave this 4 stars. Would be 5 stars if the bin was larger. Its a quiet unit and its labeled on top for 8 sheets of 20 lb paper. It shreds faster than my old one, and this one does not grunt when shredding 8 sheets at a time. Very good basic shredder.
For the first few days, I thought it was great; relatively quiet, I have a lot to shred, but realize I mustn't overwork something this inexpensive, so I limited shredding to 15 min at a time. The red light NEVER came on and it did not feel "overheated". On the 4th day of use, after struggling with what was perhaps too thick a wad of paper, I stopped it and put it into reverse. From that point forward, it just stopped working. The green light is on, but it only runs in REVERSE! In forward mode, it's just silent with the green light on, so it's not overheated. I can't see any blockage.
Out of box broken. The sensor is in the middle but only about 2 inches on each end would actually pull in the document and shred. I spent 30 minutes putting the paper in the center to trigger the mechanism and moving it to the side to actually shred it, after that 30 minutes I shoved it back in the box and returned it at my Walmart.
