Really works well especially in rv parks

This adapter has a 115-volt 30-amp 3-prong male "crows foot" plug on one end and a regular 115-volt single outlet on the other end. The cord is 14-inches long. It is not for 230-volts. If you need to plug a regular 115-volt plug into an 115-volt RV outlet, this may be the adapter you need. Check the photos here and the packaging to make sure that this is what you need. The outlet end lights up to show when it has power.

This adapter lets me connect a standard heavy-duty extension cord to a 30A outlet. Sometimes the 30A outlet is too far away for the 30A cord to reach it. This adapter lets me use a standard 15A extension cord to go that extra length. I already have another adapter that goes from 15A female to 30A male, to connect at the other end of the 15A extension cord. The 15A extension cord is less expensive than a 30A extension cord, weighs less, and takes up less storage space.

I have a small RV that I use about 10 months in a year. Being away from my garage means that I must have sufficient tools with me to meet any unusual situation that might arise. This 30-Amp to 15-Amp extension adapter has become a welcome addition to my on-the-road toolkit. In a bind, this adapter extension would allow me to take 30-Amp power from a campground power pole and connect it to one of my 15-Amp extension cords, with which I could then power small tools, emergency lights, a vacuum cleaner, and other individual small appliances. The adaptor cord is 18 inches long, which makes plugging into a power pole a bit easier (both on the me and on the extension cord). The 15-Amp female plug end has a built-in power light to let me know the cord is transferring power. All components are sturdy and well-designed. This extension adapter may well sit in my RV for years, unused. But that one time I need it, it'll be an indispensible part of my tool collection. I feel better prepared for having it, and I'd recommend that anyone using an RV to have one also.

I was really pleased when i got to looking at how well this was made. The contacts are all brass, and solidly mounted. The shielding of the wires is thick and durable, with reinforcement at the plug connections to allow flexibility. This should last for many years to come...

Camp ground typically have the standard electrical outlets (15Amp) and also a 30Amp outlet which most people do not unless they have a plug that fits the 30A, so having this adapter is the solution to keep the load separated from others needing to use the standard plugs. This helps from the circuit breaker tripping due to overloads, especially when using heaters or portable AC units by more than 1 party. Simple and feasible solution.

I am surprise how well it is built even better than in description. Design make it easy plugging in and out. And is made of heavy-duty polyvinyl plastic what I expected. It says it can be used in any type of weather and just looking how it is made I believe it. And there is power blue indicator light. Of course it is necessary to read instructions and warnings that are on the back of the package for safe use. Highly recommend.

Heavy Duty RV adapter cord thatconverts 30 amp connection to 15 amps. The 15 amp side where you can plug in any device you plug into a wall outlet up to 1800 amps. It is really well made. I have been able to use it in any 30 Amp receptacle that i have at work or at the farm besides using it with the RV.

This is an item you would never think you would need but last year because of the price of gas I left my trailer in storage, bought a tent and started tent camping. I did not realize all campsites did not have both 50 amp and 15-amp service outlets at all their sites. I thought about making one but forgot till I got to another site that didn't have a 15 amp service. When I saw this I said that's what I need. It should not fit but please don't confuse this with a 220 volt circuit.
