The Auto Drive 50 ft. PVC/Hybrid Car Wash Hose is a solid choice for everyday car washing and light outdoor use. The hybrid PVC material feels durable while still being flexible enough to maneuver easily around a vehicle without constantly kinking. At 50 feet, it provides plenty of reach for washing cars, trucks, or SUVs without needing to move the water source. One of the standout features is how lightweight the hose is compared to traditional rubber hoses, making it easy to coil and store after use. The fittings attach securely and don't leak, even under steady water pressure. It also performs well in moderate temperatures, staying flexible rather than becoming stiff. While it may not be ideal for heavy-duty or commercial use, it's more than capable for regular home car washing and basic yard tasks. Overall, the Auto Drive 50 ft. PVC/Hybrid Car Wash Hose offers good durability, ease of use, and value for the price, making it a reliable option for car owners who want a hassle-free washing experience.
I bought this extra hose to add to my 50 ft hose so if I go to burn some brush that I've cut off and you know it's laying there dead you know you burn at certain times but it's been too hot I like to have a 5 gallon bucket water beside me and I needed the hose to reach far enough that if I need to use it I have it I thought it was a little pricey for the quality of this hose but you know it's a hose water will come out of it I thought it was a little pricey though it's a little pricey for this hose but what can you do you know you take the best price you get and you deal with it God bless America things will get better amen and Jesus name
I wouldn't recommend it if you were looking for anything other than House to transport the water to another area other than that exactly what for the price? However, it does paint with water to go. I would buy different hoodies only because a personal opinion I don't like it up on me every five seconds whether or not it's great.
This seems like a decent hose for watering my potted plants on my deck, but I wouldn't expect any heavy use out of it. It's very lightweight. My biggest gripe - and the reason for this review - is that the connectors aren't brass, as advertised. They're brass colored aluminum (as I suspected). Either way, sooner or later they'll corrode, unlike solid brass. The description is deceptive and that rattles my almonds.
I've never had a hose that kinks so easily that isn't years old. Trying to go back and forth to straighten it out kept my attention away from the spout. At first it seemed fine.. I looked in that direction and water was shooting out from 3 spots lol. Messed with the washer , but that didn't help. I grabbed a washer I had and that one works. So far. I made sure I had the hose straight and started to spray something down, but 10ft was as far as I could move without it kinking back up. Needed to replace a hose I've had about 8 years and I guess I got what I paid for each of these. The old one had been more expensive, but 8 years compared to about 20 minutes with a cheaper one is definitely a big difference. BTW I gave 3 stars because it didn't split open. Them again there's always tomorrow.
I initially thought this was going to be a good product. I hooked it up today. The hose collapses and goes flat no matter how straight you try to hold it. The nozzle spurts water out in two places I disassembled it and reassembled it to be sure it was hooked up correctly, it was
It's been 10 mo. since purchase. Metal collar for the nozzle end leaks now. It has visible cracks. We do live in extreme heat in the summer, so that likely didn't help. After discount, price was $14.00. Overall not a bad value. Factor in lost time and an unplanned trip to the store, probably worth paying a little extra, for some longer lasting quality.
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. More kinks than the London Underground, just junk. This is something you get as a gift for someone that keeps trying to borrow your good hose. The only thing salvageable out of this was the hose gasket and it is not that good. I spent more time trying to unkink the hose than actually using it, gave up and tossed it in the trash and then ordered a industrial grade water hose.
I searched for a hose with a high tolerance for water pressure. Our water pressure is 61 PSI and the data attached to the hose indicated 100 PSI. While watering our plants, the hose blew out from my hand the held watering device. The hose after the separation indicated the clamp holding the metal connector was insufficient for 61 PSI. However, the quality of the hose appears itself, it will hold 100 PSI. The problem is with the meta! devices.
the hose has a toxic chemical smell. its been a couple weeks since I bought the hose and still the water coming out of the hose has a pronounced chemical smell. The other thing about this hose is that it kinks so easily. Even just to hang it on a hose hanger the hose kinks. If I had not thrown out the packaging when I unwrapped the hose. I would've returned it. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone.
