Love Avalon cream but…
I've been using the regular rich type Avalon cream for 25 years and love what it does for my face. No age spots (I'm almost 60)and very clear complexion. Ordinarily, I have very dry skin. I ordered the gel-type on accident.I don't like it as well. It's very thin and the darker color through me off. The regular stuff is like fluffy white whip cream. I will use the rest of this and am trying it on my legs and hands to see what it does for all my “spots”. I think this gel is probably better for summer dryness. The rich cream is much heavier on the skin.

Do not like
Not at all like the original cream. This gel cream feels slimy on my face when I am putting it on. after I apply my face still continues to feel dry and un-moisturized. do not like this at all.

This arrived the seal inside was down in the product and the jar was 1/2 full. I called the company and they said that shouldn't have happened and are sending a replacement.

i like the renewal cream version of this much better. this gel is to thin and runny.

Has Sodium Benzoate
It contains Sodium Benzoate which, when combined with Vitamin C, is a known carcinogen! So disappointed.
