Back to the Roots Organic Perlite for Garden Soil, 8 qt

This perlite product has proven effective in enhancing humidity levels within my mushroom monotub cultivation system. While mushrooms generally require substantial humidity during their growth cycle, this product significantly contributes to achieving optimal conditions. I am pleased to report that I am currently on my second purchase, reflecting my satisfaction and continued recommendation.

If you care about root health, this perlite is a must-have. It has excellent porosity, holding just the right amount of moisture without suffocating the plant. I’ve used it in a mix for my Monstera and Philodendrons, and I’ve noticed better growth because the soil stays light and well-aerated. It’s also very clean, with very little fine residue. Highly recommended.

It's made a world difference in my plant since I started using it and I repot it probably about 8 to 10 different plants since I bought it and my plants are doing amazing since I added it in the soil it has helped to keep the soil much better and to regulate the water drainage I should say the stuff is a miracle worker and my plants are doing much better. They're much healthier and they're happy and when I say happy, you can see it in their leaves. They are upright and they are not drooping thank you thank you thank you.

This and the vermiculite has saved my plants from the incessant rains! We need to ask all these potting soil makers why we need separate bags of this unlike in years before where everything came already put together in a good potting mix. It is great stuff though! I recommend it for anyone that has indoor or outdoor plants.

this product is at a great price compared to others. I like that it has a zip top on it so in the garden I don't have to worry about resealing it between uses. this product should be used whenever you are potting up plants. it helps absorb the water and is great for your roots.

I don't know. Whado you want me to say? A picture tells a THOUSAND words ALTHOUGH, I guess I'll elaberate a little more, we use these rocks for adaquate draining when watering our plants and these work great. There a great product. They allow the roots to breath and let oxygen in as well.

haven't used this brand yet...i use perlite because the experts say it protects the roots from too much moisture...I'm still experimenting to try to have drought resistant plants w less watering

The product is well packaged. Wish there was a way for this type product to be shipped in something other than plastic. The granules were smaller than expected since we were specifically searching for coarse granules. Not overly dusty. Does what perlite do.

Mostly DUST. I thought maybe it was just from settling, but after digging through it, it is indeed mostly dust. Not only is it a rip off (I paid for perlite, not for dust), but the dust will suffocate your plants’ roots. I will be returning this product asap.

Bag was leaking all over when I received it. I opened the making bag to discover they shipped an opened bag inside the mailing bag. Disappointed in the quality of choosing an open containervto ship.
