Mushroom grow kit for pink oyster mushrooms arrived on time and as expected. Following the instructions and being sure to keep them warm, they came up and were delicious. Would recommend.
I really like and yes would be wonderful for children learning to grow and senior for the enjoyment so I will be ordering more and letting my family and friends know as well thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never grown my own mushrooms before, so this was a fun summer break activity! The mushrooms grew quickly and tasted yummy. I really like that the kits are made with sustainable materials. I received this product free in exchange for my honest opinion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy this Organic Mushroom Grow Kit from Back to the Roots so much! This is a fun, space-saving, and convenient way to grow my own fresh mushrooms at home. Within just 10 days, I'd be able to harvest a generous crop of organic pink oyster mushrooms — delicious, healthy, and completely toxin-free. I'm not an expert and this is so simple to set up, requires minimal care, and delivers high-quality products. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a little freshness and sustainability to their kitchen! Bonus: it's also a fun summer activity for kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im not sure if i can give this a fair review because I think i got a defective product. When I opened the box, the liquid was leaking. I looked up videos of how the substrate should look, and it's supposed to be dry but when I opened my box it was all liquidy and mushy. I was excited to try it but I dont think im supposed to use it like this. So again not sure if this is a fair assessment
I wish I had read in the instructions the website information and went to the web and looked up the information about their mushrooms, namely the substrate, which in these kits are corn cob, wheat bran and sawdust. I am very allergic to corn and cannot eat store-bought mushrooms and now I won't be able to eat these.
I got a lot of water in the bag a cup of it and very little of the substrate it was sitting in it soggy so I got a refund after I tried to get a new one but it was getting too cold outside and it is a warm weather type. I'm not happy with that! It's from florida! I wasted my time. I ordered a new pair of two a gold and pearl and it didn't come in so I got a refund so I ordered a giant blue. I got it but it wasn't growing out and it had mycilium as big as my thumb and thin as a dime so the instructions says it should grow in a month and then I can fruit it out in a few weeks more so maybe I can get some before I die, I am a veteran 61 years and 9 months old so good luck to me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has an earthy mushroom off-putting smell. The bag already came mushy and had to soak the bag facing up instead of down. After soaking overnight the bag was too wet to put back into the box so we left it in an empty pot first to drain out the excess water. We then put the bag into the box and left it on the countertop facing out towards the sunlight but not directly. was difficult to open the cutout of the back of the box and should be made easier. The instructions are also hard to follow as a first time user. It came with an instruction manual and spray bottle included. The QR code on the box provides additional videos. I like that sharing pic will give a box away. Overall, This growing process is very messy. We sprayed spring water twice day as instructed and kept away from direct sunlight... Day 7: No signs of growth and the box developed a pungent smell coming from the back. Day 11: The kitchen had an overwhelming odor from the box and I noticed that the mixture was starting to mold. The directions said that the mushroom should show growth from days 7-10 and then harvest after but there were no results. Day 15: no growth and no harvest so, I threw it away in the garbage. Overall, I appreciate and respect the idea but I was extremely disappointed with the lack of execution.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try these out but it came home to me all wet, looking like dog food. The first step is to make an X onto the bag and soak water over night but my bag was too mooshie for that making me super confused. Since I've never tried it, I looked it up to see if that's how it's suppose to be and it's not. It's suppose to be like a dried square. Very bummed out I couldn't try it.
