Seamless operation

I bought the Backbone about two weeks ago for Xbox Series X remote play. It is *INCREDIBLE.* For background, I travel quite a bit, so I've been trying out different Xbox remote play options for my iPhone. The actual iOS Xbox app works very well (particularly if you have solid WiFi), but I've struggled to figure out a solid controller situation. Trying to connect my actual Xbox controller to the iPhone was a buggy mess, and using the on-screen iPhone controller is simply impossible. Enter the Backbone, which solved all of these problems for me. It connects directly to the iPhone, so no troubleshooting is required. Additionally, the feel is awesome—it basically turns your phone into a Nintendo Switch for Xbox (with the Backbone playing the role of joycons). Since it came in the mail, I've tested numerous games using it, and all work perfectly—including Elden Ring, Persona 5, Outer Wilds, God of War, and RDR2. It's crazy. I rarely write reviews, but was so pumped with this thing that I thought I'd share my thoughts. Hope it helps!

This controller really elevated my phone gaming. I've used my phone for years to just casually play games. Having this controller feels like my phone is a console! I didn't want to stop playing.

The Backbone One controller has the best build quality of any of the mobile/telescopic controllers on the market. Sticks are a tad too small, but you get used to them. The controller, alongside the fantastic mobile app, really make your phone feel like unified mobile gaming system.

I like the size and easy storage. I like that it doesn't have to be charged. It doesn't require much power and works through the phone battery. I have extra large hands so the grips are to small. Also, when using in COD it seems to drift some when aiming to the right.

Had to wait nearly a month for my backbone controller to arrive. Although it was suppose to be a week. The price was best I could find and it did arrive finally and was exactly what I ordered. Next time I'll order something I need through Amazon if I need it quick but if I want it cheap I will go through Walmart.

It was what was advertised but it was the wrong usb port. I wasn't sure which one to get and ended up getting the wrong one because my phone can't connect :( If your phone has the old connection then it'll work great! If your phone has a usb type c connection then order the the 2nd generation!

Damm thing sucks so bad. Can't even play the game I want. Damm analog stick won't work during matches. Updated my phone already and still nothing seems to fix it. Like come on bro why are you selling a wack as product? Already went on settings and nothing seems to fix the problem. Now to return this thing is a dumb process too like bro why. Just give me my money back or fix this dumb product.
