Purchased for a nephew however he already had one. I was able to return seamlessly. I had also received the controller incredibly quick. If there were ever a need for it, would definitely order again.

The price was great not expensive plus it was on sale. The quality of the product is fantastic. Works great with my steps sons android. I'm over all very satisfied!

this has been a life saver when traveling

I do not like how they try to persuade you to purchase a subscription when it is not completely necessary. My use so far has been only to mirror my PS4 and that works well enough, God of War: Ragnarok is slightly laggy but that could just be the lesser quality of my cell phone. I imagine if you were to use either Samsung or Apple Flagship phones the quality may run more smoothly.

A good controller marred by faulty design and a subscription service that locks out useful features. This would probably be the best controller for Android or iOS if Backbone Labs cared more about quality and less about milking it's consumer base. Controller is very user friendly and software is too. Main issue is that the left side of the controller will stop working through no fault of the user. It can happen after a few months or just a couple of weeks with light use. This is a known issue and is related to how the retracting portion was designed. Frankly BBL should never have been allowed to sell this controller with this defect and I expect this will come back to bite them quite hard. Secondly a number of functions in the app such as the ability to make the controller useable on PC are locked behind a yearly $40 sub. This is NOT worth what they are asking and there is no option for a lower tier. With a phone controller that costs $99 I expect more value not more money I'm asked to spend.

i followed all of these instructions, it will not use mobile data. I am not able to use it outside my house. I am really disappointed.

The item is weak and didn't fit my android phone. The item didn't say you need a $25 card to buy games.

doesnt show barcode, so you wont know of its gen 1 or gen 2. and its 30 dollars overpriced compared to other retailers.

Overhyped product. Prone to random disconnections and input lag. Couple that with the fact that you have to pay for a subscription in order to fully utilize the product and you have an altogether waste of $100. Most game controllers are already compatible with most phones and have phone holsters that go for as little as $5. In my opinion this is not worth the $100 price tag. PlayStation and Xbox controllers for example are going for $70, the phone holsters being as low as $5 and websites offering free shipping for orders over $35 make a better option than this overpriced product that also becomes a bill. This was a 1st generation model, I pray the 2nd generation does way better.
