I was first recommended to use this product in 1986. And I have used it ever since. So, Bar's radiator seal product has a long and strong reputation.
We had a Radiator leak as we were driving in very cold weather %26 the Car overheated, I stopped turned it off %26 checked, fluid level empty in the Radiator %26 over flow, I was able to walk 1 block to a gas station %26 get 1 gallon of anti freeze, that got us to a Nearby Walmart where I purchased more along with 2 of these packages of Bar's, the leak must not have been too big as it's been over a month with no leaking since, over flow has stayed full. So I rate Bar's 100% effective, as long as your leaks are not too big to fill, I've also used the bottles in the past %26 they worked great, it's always taken me 2 applications, so buy 2 of whichever product you buy, and it won't hurt to carry 2 extra along with a couple gallons of Ani-freeze in your Trunk in an emergency, I've learned my less, my backups are always with me along with some cheap funnels to get it all in %26 a roll of paper towels with a spray bottle of cleaner always in the trunk.
A favorite product. Fourth time Bars has taken care of minor antifreeze leak in my vehicles without major engine work. I've heard dealers routinely add this as a preventative measure in all their cars.
received fast and in great shape thank you
Sealed up the leaks..
I've used these for years, they work great but make sure you read the directions. One pack is not enough for the cooling system in my truck, I need one and a half or 8 tablets.
I've tried the Bar's Leak liquid stuff with chunks with unsatisfactory results (my radiator guy showed me a picture months later of the tube sheet of my radiator with still-undissolved chunks of something still hanging around). These tablets are slightly less convenient than the Bar's Leak powder I have used formerly, but can't find any more. I just dissolved these tablets in hot water for 10-15 minutes before adding the mixture to my radiator. I first had to temporarily remove some coolant to make room. Seems to have lessened the seepage and I plan to add another package as instructed if it doesn't stop completely soon.
it works, just took a minute or two.
Used as directed. It worked great.
I have same issue after using .
