Purchased on a recommendation not knowing if it would really work. It does. Tip I do is heat some water, not a lot, to boiling first and pour the powder into the hot water so it will dissolve, otherwise you have to stir and stir and it doesn't all dissolve. Then pour into the tank, stir and leave for over night. For the ring of discoloration towards top of tank reserve a thick paste of the cleaner and rub in with a toothbrush or something similar and let it also sit.

I followed the instructions regarding The 6 hours or overnight recommendations. It was seamless! The toilet tank was cleaned to original. I used a brush/toothbrush to scrub a few areas during the process. Definitely recommend!

This product works exactly s described: Sprinkle into the toilet tank with water, stir, let sit for 8 hours. My tank was practically black with hard water stain and it was all "dissolved" into the water after 8 hours. Not even using the "Desired method" that required more steps. Easier than I was thinking first looking at the black tank
