Battat Bug Catch ‘N’ Free Insect Vacuum Catching Set for 4 Years +

My kids loved this! They sucked up The bugs were able To see them in the magnifying glass and then transferred them to their bug hotel! Hours of fun finding bugs just to look at under the magnifying lens! So cool!

Loved the set! The only one thing I would do is put an extra 1 to 2 more bugs in the set for the days we can't go out and catch them. Also I would have a small container to put the bugs that were caught in. It's great to have a net but where to put the bugs the kids caught as I said earlier.

This was perfect for my curious 6 year old who is afraid of bugs but felt safe using the tools included to handle them without fear. Usually a new toy gets a few days of excited play then forgotten about but she is begging me to use it a few times a week still. Highly recommend!

Really have a hard time keeping them from catching crawlers, so we've always got a bin of bug catching supplies. But they haven't had a vacuum yet! Needless to say they love it, and they're scooping up more crawlers than they did previously. Vacuum is not super strong so no bugs have been harmed, which I love. I'm hoping this will help control the spiders that get inside - the kids are the certified Spider Removal Team!

My daughter received this toy for her 6th birthday. She's been outside for a little over an hour trying to vacuum up “holy moly's” as she calls them (Rollie pollies) lol. She's saying she's going to catch fireflies tonight with her bug viewer and magnifying glass. Thank you for making a cool toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Battat Bug Catch'n'Free I knew exactly where it needed to be. Our family has had a cottage on a lake up north for decades. The kids have hoards of fun outdoor toys up there and this was a perfect addition to their stash. We spent Memorial Day weekend really testing the product. It came packaged very neatly. All the included accessories are a fun perk. We even used the magnifying glass to teach a little science lesson. There is enough vacuum power to catch bugs, big and small. Most of them survive from beginning to end. I don't think this toy left the hands of the kids on any given day of play. There is an internal chamber that keeps the bugs contained and there's even a magnifying glass disc on the inside so you can inspect your catch. The little container that comes with it is sturdy and can handle some tossing around. The only difficulty we had was transferring some of the bugs from the vacuum to the container. My 4 year old daughter loves this toy! The only thing was the suction power could be better or maybe even different tips to attach for different shaped surfaces where the bugs were! But other then that when it did have a good suction it was fun and she enjoyed catching them and loving them to another part of the yard!

The pieces are just the right size and the packaging was easy to open and get to the fun not alot of tape and strings. I would purchase other items from this line. We haven't caught anything yet but it's nice to have something like this to play with outdoors.

The product seems great, Walmart not so much. It came in a broken box with a clearance sticker with a price on it that was less than half of what I paid.
