Carson BugView 5x Magnifier Quick-Release Bug Catching Tool STEM Educational Toy for Kids and Adults

If you have (or know) a child who is curious about insects, spiders, and other tiny creatures, this just might be the best $12 you ever spend. My 5-year old neighbor loves observing bugs, and she also enjoys looking at other small objects (like leaves and feathers) with this thing. As an added bonus, her parents use it to humanely catch and release spiders and insects they find in the house. It's a win/win!

This wonderful item makes bug removal from the home a breeze. My kids and I enjoy looking at them before putting them outside. I just put a big spider outside with no hassle, chasing, squishing, or heebie jeebies involved. Worth it.

Saw these bug catchers and decided my husbands grandkids needed them. Super cute. Holding up well. The magnifying glass is perfect. Catch and release fun.

The magnifying glass is very good but to catch something and release is difficult and the paper is flimsy, so it doesn't really keep anything inside. The magnifying part very is difficult for a five-year-old to use. Might work for a seven-year-old .

Bigger than other bug catchers---so don't have to worry about catching part of the bug in the trap door. Works great---I don't like killing anything if I don't have to.

I got this for my grandson to be able to look at insects closely without having to pick them up. But this is really handy for me for scooping up insects to put outside. No more grabbing a tissue to try to catch insects. Good idea!

We have a screened-in porch that occasionally gets bugs. We enjoy catching the bugs and releasing them outdoors without having to kill them. We have grandchildren that love to help and they like to see the bugs under the magnifying glass.

DO NOT KILL BUGS OR ANTS please! if I knew this tool before, definitely I would buy it.. let them live their life.. catch them and leave to the garden /outside/back yard... I love this item..

A humane and simple way to escort insects out of your home. Very easy to use. Small size so you can store it easily. We also have a small bug vacuum which works well in most situations but needs batteries. Only drawback to this item is it only works if the insect is on a flat surface. Highly recommend.

If you're someone who tries to capture spiders to put them outside, then this product is totally for you! I LOVE this thing, and have given it as a gift to several friends, who also loved it enough to gift it to other friends. It's not just for spiders, either. I used it to capture a wasp that was on the inside of my kitchen window last summer, a friend has used it to capture a tiny lizard who got into the house, etc, etc. You may not think you'll use it, but I'm pretty sure you will, if you have it.
