Battery Charger, 120V AC, (1) 56V CH2100

I recieved the battery and it did not work. So then i returned it immediately and had a terrible time getting a refund back to my original soirce of payment since it was a third party purchase. i still have not received my refund and the item has been returned.

Bought for slow charging. Listed as 210 watt, but my meter shows it charging at around 360 watts. Still better than the fast charger.

No problem with this charger which came with the EGO string trimmer. I've used it once but have since been using the charger that came with my EGO lawnmower which works exactly the same in performance. I just bought the trimmer last month, so I haven't run the battery completely down yet. I did recharge the battery at two thirds down with the lawnmower charger and it was practically all charged up in half hour.

Ego Battery tools are my 40th wedding anniversary gifts. And they are worth 40 years of waiting. I'm still strong enough to use, maintain and service these powerful tools. The smallest battery outlasts my energy. Best lawn tools I've had in my life and a good price point.

I bought this less than 5years ago and it has failed. It is a very simple piece of equipment with no moving parts and it's the second charger that I have had fail. Charger with pole saw failed and charger with blower/trimmer combo failed. The latter was covered by warranty, but second failure was past warranty. There is obviously a manufacturing flaw in these units.

I bought this just over 1 month ago as part of a bundled purchase. The charger died within a month (3 uses) so after the hassle of going through the warranty claim, I received a replacement. The new one seems to work fine … but so did the old one. Overall I'm left feeling pretty unconfident with the quality and longevity of the product. Better quality control is clearly needed so that a brand new product doesn't go out the door only to fail within a month. Having read other reviews I unfortunately know I didn't just buy a rare bad one, as this is a common complaint. For the ridiculous price they charge for a motor and a bunch of plastic, it should be much higher quality so you don't need to waste time on the phone doing the warranty wait.

Ditching gas and the noise makes this a win/win. I bought the 1300 mower and since the batteries are interchangeable, it's another win/win. The power load feature on the trimmer and the turbo feature on the blower are perfect as is the adjustable handle on the trimmer.

The charger works as expected at a discounted price

This charger worked great until it didn't. Fortunately, it was still under warrantee and E Go shipped me a replacement which I received in about a week. Not using my tools commercially, so no down time. Replacement working as it should...I hope to get more than 3 years out of the new one. Thank you E Go.

The EGO Power+ 56-Volt Charger is an absolute game-changer that minimizes downtime by topping off batteries incredibly fast. The built-in fan system keeps everything cool to protect battery life, and the clear LED indicators make it easy to track charging progress from across the garage. If you're in the EGO ecosystem, this rugged and efficient charger is a must-have.
