I bought these shears on a whim. I knew my old ones were adequate but slowly dying. When I got these including the sheath, I was surprised, I even kinda laughed at the purchase. But then I used them. No laughing matter at the way they cut through the chicken. And e en cutting beef . These are not a joke. They really work. I also like how easy it is to put the latch on for safety.

I purchased these to cut green crabs for Tautog (black) fish. They work much better than surgeon scissors or any other type of scissor that I've tried so far. Very comfortable to use, no blisters. The only downside is that the all metal design is cold during cold weather. I rinse with fresh water after use.

Spring appears to be internal. Not sure how long it will hold up to corrosion. Worked well to cut out turkey backbone which is why I bought it. The sheath it came with is useless and not needed.

I love that it comes in a sheath! Makes it very easy to store and keep handy. I had a little bit of difficulty unhooking the lock… But I am completely blind. So, I fumbled with it for a little bit, but got it to the open and it works like a dream!

This is my 2nd pair as first was stolen in a move. Just as good as first set. Elderly Boomer here and I can break down a whole chicken in less than 15 mins with these scissors. Cuts through wings, rib cage and breast bone without a lot of effort. Only issue was the inside of blade did not cut skin. The tip of scissors cuts the skin well so takes some adjusting the cuts but otherwise a great pair of scissors. Handles won't snap off like some others I've had.

They look very good. Haven't used them yet so not sure how well they work on cutting chickens. I plan on cutting out the backbone so chicken lies flat when baked or grilled.

Really can not rate them because I had A Heart Attack and A small aneurysm right after I ordered them … So I really didn't have any time to get any real use out of them but if I ever do I will let you know

I'll keep it but I'm not so happy with the scissor part. I can only cut heavy plastic an inch at a time that's what I bought it for have not tried to use the other features

Scissors arrived in used condition, with broken spring in package that had been opened before shipped to me. I will not return them as the time and expense for me is not worth the effort...
