the most under used tool in most kitchens. change that with this great quality pair of shears. i had to replace the cheap 1s that came with my knife set. it was the correct choice for cutting meats/chicken. (use only for food)

The scissors are heavy but not heavy duty. they can cut through certain things but it struggle cutting through flowers stems that were thick for me and for this size scissors it should be easy to cut through. Price was reasonable they do cut just not everything

I am not a weakling and my hands are normal sized. I remove skin and cut bones out of chicken thighs at least 3 times a week and am always looking for a better pair of reasonably priced poultry shear type scissors. These were on sale and looked good but I knew the minute I took them out of the box they would not work...they are unbelievably HEAVY and it was a chore just cutting the skin off. I immediately washed them off and will take back

I recommend only if you are NOT wanting regular plain ol' kitchen scissors. I did not realize they were “herb” scissors so they won't work for my needs. Built well, though.
