Beautiful 6 Quart Enamel Dutch Oven, White Icing by Drew Barrymore

Have wanted an enamel over cast iron dutch oven for a while. i dont know why I didnt get one sooner. Seems to be best of both worlds, cast iron even heating and heat transfer, and the easy clean up with the enamel coating. Admittedly I was apprehensive about buying a white dutch oven, but so far its cleaned up well and after a handful of uses looks as good as day one.

Complete transparency, I have never used a Dutch oven before. But after coming across so many recipes that show a Dutch oven as the preferred method I began to research. It is amazing how expensive these things can be. However, this "Beautiful Kitchenware" by Drew not only looks elegant, but the overall quality is fantastic for the price point. And being enameled cast iron, it does have a little bit of weight but the heat retention is amazing. I tried this out right away and made the best sirloin tip roast I ever had. I can't wait to try the next recipe. The size is perfect at 6qt. And the oval shape is great to have your roast lie nicely inside. Highly recommend .

I used this for the first time last night. Cooked great although wish the lid was higher. That being said while it is very roomy in there, do watch that the meat will fit. No meat over 10 lbs. My shopper subbed a 13 lb bone in pork roast for my 10 lb boneless. His pick needed an oversized turkey roaster. I cut meat off and apart to make it fit. Result in dutch oven perfect. It is a beautiful piece and picture is accurate. Washes well. I am going to use the lid protectors to prevent chips on edges which would be normal wear on enameled cast iron.

This pot is great to make soups in and also has enough room to cook a pot roast. It holds its heat once off of burner. The best part is it is easy to clean , I just hand wash mine. I have got to give it to Drew Barrymore, she has created a beautiful line of cookware and high quality for a reasonable price

I love Barrymore products. I'm working on my collection and every item I buy is exceptional. Excellent quality. This Dutch oven is sturdy and stain resistant. Perfect for anyone who loves to cook stews, sauces, etc. Omg! Your meat will be so tender

What a perfect size for family of 4 … with a decent amount of leftovers! (It all depends on what you are cooking!). We made pot roast to start with and it was …. on point with timing, heat, cooking etc! Not to mention is it is a Gorgeous dish that works exceptionally! Very Pleased with the purchase! Would purchase again!

The pit is beautiful but sadly I’m having to return because I can barely pick it up even without food in it. A younger cook will definitely love it! But it’s just too heavy for me.

The paint looks like it is missing a protective layer. I’ve never seen a Dutch oven like this. It should be protective. It looks cheap not what I expected. It looks so much nicer in the photos.

From the second I took from box-the exterior had black scuffs. Then I baked bread today-interior cleans ok, but again…exterior finish horrific. It does not clean up. Actually scuff marks from box still appear. Plus anything that touches it leaves marks. I’m so disappointed. I have her brand bread dome which I love. THIS ONE-noooooooo! Do not buy! Beware!!? It almost seems like a chalk paint. Horrible!!??
