Beautiful Easy-Prep Electric Can Opener, Sage Green by Drew Barrymore

It's everything as was advertised. I love the knife sharpener feature on the back. When I set it up it's a very sturdy base. The only thing I noticed is the blade/lever part seems a little on the loose side, but we'll see if that's more of a benefit or a hinderence as time goes on. The color scheme was also very important to me, having appliances to make my living space look vibrant or pleasent or just match my aesthetics really makes all the difference with the feel of my home interactions day to day.

And I didn’t even know about the can opener on the back of it and the knife sharpener, until after my purchase! lol..So Adorable, like what more could u ask for in a can opener??? It’s PERFECT!!! Color is pretty and it’s works amazingly. The magnet is Very strong, and super easy to clean. It wipes right off with a shine to it. Perfect, absolutely gorgeous! Thnxs Drew!! I love this can opener. I want you slightly tip to can and press down on the top it's automatic after that for most cans. If it's an oversized can you're going to have to hold it. As soon as you start to open the can the magnet automatically grips the top of the can and holds it. It works great, the top is detachable so you can wash it easily You just wipe down the bottom to keep it clean it's got a cord keeper in the back. If you have elderly parents and they don't have an electric can opener by the one of these. They probably grew up with them and then they went out of fashion. This will make their life so much easier. It comes with a 4-ft cord I think it might be a little bit smaller than that enough to pull it to where they need to use it but not fall off the counter. I'm 71 and this is making my life easier. There's also a knife sharpener and a bottle opener in the back of this can opener.

Love the look since my entire Kitchen is done in Beautiful Olive green but, the design has a small flaw that bugs me every time. Putting the can on to open works great. Taking them off after opening is where the problem begins. They don't come straight off and when you tilt to get them off they always spill. Not a fan of that part. Needs some tweaking on the ending.

This is your basic electric can opener. It's definitely pretty, a nice alternative to the typical metal/black ones. I mainly bought it for the “extras” which were not as great as I expected. The cord storage is useless - it's just a hole and the cord doesn't actually fit inside it unless you really wrestle with it. Maybe I'm missing something but I can't get it to fit. The main draw for me was the knife sharpener and granted, I didn't read all the fine print and thought it was some kind of electric thing that would work better than the big rod that came with my knives. Instead it has a tiny piece of some kind of gritty stone or might be plastic. I can't really tell if it works but it's not anything fancy. The bottle opener is pretty convenient. Overall it's not that different from any other can opener but definitely looks nicer than the standard ones.

It is difficult to get the can attached. The blade construction does not stay in place and continues to fall off. It is pretty but not well constructed.

I like that this can opener is very quiet. However, it does not open the can in one try. It comes off track all the time and I have to restart it over and over to just open one can. It's very frustrating.

I was so excited to use this since I have the crockpots by drew. This didn't work worth a darn. Going to return and buy a Walmart brand can opener that works so much better. I left my old Walmart brand opener in the camper and bought this for the main kitchen. Well that was a mistake. Can't wait to get a better can opener.

IN less than 4 months of having this product it began to not operate properly. The magnet doesn't line up as it had when first bought. The magnet drops and will not hold a heavy family size can. The paper on the can is being eaten by the wheel. Sometimes it will not turn at all. If you want a pretty item to just display or for very short term this product is OK. If you want to use this and have a good product that will last I highly would not recommend. I had really hoped to like the Beautiful line. After this experience I am not willing to try any other products from the Beautiful line.

This can opener stopped working after the second use, so it had to be returned. I love this Drew Barrymore line, and have many things from it, but this product was not it.
