with fibromyalia, sometimes you need a "body buddy" but this is great for startes, especially for mornings when you cant brush your hair bc of shoulders/neck pain. YOU WILL LOVE THIS!!

The third one a purchased. I don't like fragrance and this heating pad does not have fragrance or bad smell when heating and using. Stays warm and has some weight to it which I find soothing.

I bought this for pretty chronic problems following shoulder/spinal surgeries, as it appeared it would get heat to all affected muscles. It is definitely reasonably priced, very soft , stays warm a good while and heats up quickly in the microwave. What I didn't foresee was the weight of the thing. If you have similar problems such as mine--really tender muscles that don't let up--then I would suggest a more lightweight heating as a better option for you. The only thing I would add is that this can be used while you are lying down if you can manipulate it to work for you in that position. It's a neat and unique pad.

Love the size and shape. The Velcro really helps keep the wrap in place. Because of its size, it takes longer to fully heat than the directions suggest.

I brought this thinking I could use for hot or cold as stated but it doesn't heat evenly or get cold enough. The outer covering is thick but doesnt remove for cleaning. Placing that entire wrap in the freezer or microwave numerous times without cleaning, is ridiculous and unsanitary. Returning asap.

not happy with it. The heat is not warm enough, but you can't heat longer than 3-3 1/2 mins w/o it stinking up the microwave and the whole house. it doesn't contain heat very lomg.

I have had the old version of this for many years and it started smelling 'burnt' so we decided to order new ones. This one is now smaller, less versatile, AND DOES NOT HEAT AS WELL! Not only does the recommendation on the label get you even moderate warmth. I have to heat it more and more and finally got it warm enough after 2 full minutes in the 1000W microwave. Not only does it take too long to actually heat, the heat does NOT LAST! I really wish I had not thrown the old one out. I decided to buy another brand and no longer have the box to be able to return them, but they are garbage now!

Does not stay warm very long and it doesn't get that hot. If you want it to get hotter, you would have to microwave it longer, which is against the product directions. I do not bother using it. It was a waste of money.
