Carex Hot Water Bottle with Cover and Threaded Stopper, 2 qt Capacity, Blue, 0.80 lbs

I love the fact that it's my favorite color (blue) and that it's latex free so that anyone with latex allergies can use it. It's nice because back in the day they were only made with latex and if someone had an allergy to latex, they couldn't use the hot water bottle and now they have a latex free option to use. Everyone needs a hot water bottle every now and then (I know I sure do). The fact that it comes with a fleece cover so it's not so hot to the touch is nice to and it adds a little more comfort. This is the second one I bought because 1) I love the other one (just can't find it) and 2) I have a sore ankle, and my lower back is not in the best condition anymore, so I know it's going to come in handy. Plus, it can help keep me warm at night in the winter months.

Very durable. It is not recommended by the manufacturer to use water hotter than tap, however I use it for slightly cooled boiled water (for muscle aches) and it holds up just fine - making sure the cap is all the way screwed and tight! Worth the buy - for water that's frozen, cold, warm, %26 hot! And with it coming with a cover, you don't have to worry about wrapping it in a towel or tshirt and if it is frozen or hot water, the cover serves as a barrier of protection between the bottle and skin.

This bottle replaces one that started leaking. It's a great way to deal with the cold temps especially if only one person in the house wants it too hot. My wife takes it to bed and it keeps her warm without the need to adjust the thermostat. You should try it. Haven't tried it with cold water yet but I will this summer

It is tough. It doesn't leak. I use it everyday. I am absolutely happy with it.

Just what my 96 year old mother was wanting

I haven't used it yet. It looks nice! You cannot hang this bottle upside down, only right side up. It does not have fumes at all, so it's a big improvement over the red one sent to me but I was charged, when it was supposed to be without cost to me.

I am really happy with this hot water bottle. It's my first experience with one, and I purchased it for a bit of an unusual reason. We have a feral cat hanging around, and while he's getting used to us, we cannot persuade him to let us touch him. So, we're happy to feed him and keep him comfy outside. We're having an early winter this year in a northern state, so I bought this to put under the blankets in the cat house I set up in one of our sheds. So, I'm putting very hot water in it (not according to directions, so do at your own risk). I put it out at 7pm and by 7am, the water still feels lukewarm. And that's with below freezing temps. We plan to purchase several more for our own use, just to have for colder nights. This is a nice product and seems sturdy and long-lasting. For now, though, just happy to keep our outdoor friend warmer at night.

Pretty color blue, nicer than your than your standard water bottle. A little smaller though. Happy with purchase some were gifts and recipients were delighted. We like the soft cloth bag it comes in and Latex free is a definite plus!

I grew up with the old fashioned rubber not water bottle so thought this would be the same, it's not, it's very stiff and the edges are painfully hard, it also leaks if you don't severely tighten it. This is difficult if you have arthritis. In order to use it at all I only half till it then squeeze it until air it out, use pliers to close it, then put under my one hip joint, useless for neck. Wish they made it with silicone or rubber.
