Definitly 3 inches once layed out for 24 hours, and worth the money. It is a little firm, but I like my bedding like that. Fits perfect on my king size bed.

This topper seems to give good support while being very soft and comfortable. It doesn't get hot, stays cool all night long which was very important to me. You do kind of sink into it and sometimes it takes a minute to regain its shape which isn't ideal, but I think it's still good quality.

I caught it on sale so value was great. I used it over a 12 inch memo foam mattress. the mattress while obviously great was firm and I wanted more of a cushion to sink into. this topper was perfect for that. I sink into and it cushions me fully. I recommend using a mattress pad or cover over it to make changing sheets easier. I have had it a month. but had already put one on my mother's bed several months ago as well and the serm to be aging well

I've always had a very hard mattress but now at my age I find the topper to be a great help for my aching bones.

it filled out immediately. no odor. fit the bed perfectly. what i didnt like was i thought being gel or memory foam it would be softer but its not as soft.
