Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (4K Ultra HD + Digital Copy)

Overall good movie. Hard to compare to the original when you're talking about a classic move like Beetlejuice. Some weird plot lines and weird character cameos (Danny Devito) but overall good film. The original dad is not in the film but if you look him up, you'll understand why.

The first time I ordered this item, it didn't arrive. However, I tried again, and it came this time, and I'm glad it did. This is a movie that will, of course, disappoint some people—specifically fans of the original. Many of them will go into this movie expecting the same magic that was captured 30 years ago, and that's just not the case with the new one. That said, it's a great movie, especially if viewed as a standalone. While it doesn't quite live up to the original Beetlejuice, it's still a lot of fun. Michael Keaton slips right back into his character as if no time has passed, and the same can be said for Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara. The three of them are fantastic together. My main issue with the film, if I had to pick one, is the absence of Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin. While the film explains why their characters are no longer there, it would've been nice to see them again. Also, I'm not a fan of Jenna Ortega at all. Her inclusion in the film feels unfortunate and detracts from the experience every time she's on screen—which is far too often, in my opinion. Still, I would absolutely recommend this movie to anyone. Even though it took 30 years to happen, it was worth the wait. Ultimately, it was wonderful to return to Winter River, Connecticut, and revisit these characters. From the moment the opening credits roll, a feeling of nostalgia and comfort envelops you like a warm hug from an old friend and stays with you until the very end.

Will not disappoint great movie

Fair addition to the story. Some things could have been expanded upon, but good fun.

Movie is great. Fantastic actors, good story. However, I ordered this online, and it was shipped from the store. The physical item I received, the outer plastic film covering the disc case was sliced at the opening edge and the digital code page was missing. Very annoyed.

Great sequel to a classic! Loved every minute of it!!

It arrived fine! The disk was defective, so trying again. I hope the next one will be a good one ! :)

seeing Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice again brought back great memories. The plot has a few twists, and the musical parts are as funny as the first. I enjoyed this sequel.

It's a decent movie, but it doesn't feel like the original. The original had more enthusiasm and even though it's made by the same director, it looks like he's slightly tried to improve it however it does have really good nostalgia and it's nice to see what the characters were up to, but it felt a little bit too convoluted with Multiple side stories it's still worth buying if you're looking for a popcorn flick
