Behrens Utility Pail - Galvanized Steel, 10 Qt, Multicolor

I both wanted and needed this galvanized bucket and was so glad to see that Walmart carried them! These buckets are so well made and will last a lifetime! I had great service and quick shipping with Walmart!………….Thanks

These pails are great when used as intended. I use mine to empty ashes out of my wood stove. They're also good on farms for carrying feed and other dry things. There's the catch. Dry things. They leak water a little. The company's web page recommends sealing all of the seams with silicone before use if you want to use them for carrying water.

buy a plastic bucket

This bucket is super cute but not “sealed for wet contents” as it claims. I used it at a party for drinks and added ice to keep them chilled. Next thing I knew, as the ice melted, there was water everywhere, except in the bucket!

It's ok for the price. Expected it to be a little more heavy duty

Nice bucket, but wasn't pleased with the glue in the bottom of the bucket.

I was happy to get this yesterday. I washed it out and filled with water to take outside for my dogs to use as their water bucket on my patio. It dripped water from my kitchen and dining room and a steady stream outside. It was not sealed at all. The seam was leaking the entire side of the bucket. it also leaked on the bottom seam. I needed it right away, so we used a product called flex glue to stop the leaks. I like the bucket, but not the leaks. It should have been sautered to keep that from happening.

They have changed their manufacturing process whereby they have to use sealant to prevent the pail from leaking, mine did not leak, but my ten year old pail by Behrens does not have sealant and it never has leaked. Not going to purchase another in my lifetime.

I received it, but there are globs of dried glue down the seems.. makes it look very messy
