Bell Binder 100 Standard Bike Brake Pads, Black

I have been maintaining bicycles since 1963. I bought these for restoring a vintage Raleigh 3-Speed, to be used as a commuter bike in Pittsburgh, where stopping on hills is a must. These are a perfect fit, and work flawlessly, having retainers on both sides of the pads.

Well, it saved me from having to run all over town to find some brake shoes for the bicycle. Delivery was a little slow, but it was no emergency.

Exactly what I needed. I was disappointed by the size of the box that it was shipped in. The box was huge, I wish I would've taken the measurements.

I contacted Huffy Bikes concerning replacement bake pads for a women's trail bike and they referred me to Walmart. The pads were nearly identical to those being replaced and the price was great!

They're brake pads. I put them on my bike, and they stop it. Granted, not as well as the original equipment ones did, but then again, I don't get all of the squealing and noise I got from the original brakes that were starting to harden. So, they do what they are supposed to do. Would I recommend them? Yeah, if you need replacement brakes on your bike, these will do.

These are basic brake pads. Didn't need the high performance pads listed for twice the price. Fit boys bike fine.

Well, what's to say. The brake pads were easy to put on and the brakes work. They are not as noisy as the old ones but they still make a grabbing noise at times. I'm satisfied, though.

These do not cover the same area as my old brakes do, and are a cheaper quality, couln't replace my old one, just seem better and stronger!

I'm also not sure where the glowing reviews are coming from. After installing them, I used them to test on a sidewalk going about 5mph. They crumbled to bits. On the very first pull of the brake lever, one of the bits of rubber came clean off. Horrible product. I ended up putting the brakes back on that I was trying to replace as they were better. I've attached a photo of what you should expect from one application of the brake at 5mph on a kids bicycle with little pressure from the brake.

These brake pads are a joke. They might fit a child's bike, 20" or smaller, but no way anything bigger.
