Bell Combo Cable Bike Lock

I was not looking to turn my bike into Fort Knox. If somebody truly wants to steal your bike, they will regardless of the lock. When I was looking for a lock, I wanted something that would be easy to store and something that would deter theft. This cable lock comes with a preset 4 digit combination that you cannot change. Each digit can be number 1 through 6. making 1,296 possible combinations. The cable stays in a coil as shown in the picture and can be wrapped around the bike seat post for storage while not in use or while riding your bike. You can get a more sturdy lock that gives some better security. However, I think this lock does the job just fine.

For the price of this bike lock you can’t beat it! Has a good length to the cable so you can lock it to mostly anything. The wrapped cable feels strong and mostly likely won’t be easy to cut. Comes with a preset 4 digit code and has no issues unlocking or locking. I feel like my bike is safe and secure whenever I have to leave it unattended

We needed something to keep my son's bike safe outside at night and simple for him to use. This lock is perfect. He's able to keep his bike safe on the porch. The cording is thick and would take a lot to break through and the lock is durable and easy to open with the code. Highly recommended!

Works

Went into walmart store and purchased this item. Got home and opened it, I was please with the quality of the lock. Mine is 5 feet long which I find most useful to chain my bike to a post. Using the preset combination was no big deal to me. It fits well under my women's mountain bike seat. Love it

Came with a bike bundle so that was convenient af. It works. Bike hasn't been stolen yet. Great price and seems like great quality.

Quality product

FYI you are unable to set your own combo. Only use the preset ones by the manufacturer.

This is a solid bike lock to carry with you for short stops on your ride. I wouldn't rely on it to protect a good bike overnight or out of sight. Perfect for my intended use!

There were no instructions to reset the combination either on the package or on the Bell website. I looked up general info online and tried to reset the lock, the thin holder on the edge broke and the combination mechanism came apart. Now if I try to lock it after manually resetting to the new combination, a little excess force pulls the lock out, making it useless.
