Arrived quickly and were easy to install. Unlike the old tubes these ones actually held air and with the leak stop liquid inside should continue to do so.
Very happy with this purchase. Was going to fix my old tube but purchasing this replacement was so much more convenient. Been riding on it for a few weeks now. No issues.
Got a replacement from Walmart so probably just a manufacturing defect.
Seems like a good quality tube that was properly manufactured. The true test comes when I get a puncture but I'm not going to try deliberately, so 4 star rating for now.
I could've bought this at other places but it's around $1 off @ Walmart.
Tube does not self seal. In one day without riding the bike tires were flat
I bought this to repair my son's bike. It was defective out of the box, went flat after one day of use. It is SUPPOSED to be "self-sealing" in case of minor puncture.
I guess the tire sealing goo. Migrates too the bottom of tire. For when you go over 15 mph. The bike shakes with the out of balance wheels. I know it is the cause, for I put the old tubes back in. The stopped immediately. Being as there is no way to remove the goo. I will purchase new tubes without "self sealing" feature.
I bought one of these tubes awhile back, hoping that this tube would go flat less than the cheaper tubes. But 5 have gone flat in the last 6 months, 2 going flat in the last week. The sealant inside the tube does not work--it just leaks out of the hole. I've been able to exchange each one of these tubes that went flat at no extra cost, but I have become tired of taking trips to Wal Mart because of these terrible tubes. For me, this product has not done what it claims to do, and goes flat more than the cheaper tubes. I've installed plenty of tubes throughout my life, and these tubes are the ONLY tubes that have gone flat after a matter of minutes. I bought a Specialized tube from a bike shop for $5, and it has stayed inflated. Please don't waste your money on these Bell tubes.
Twice now I have had the valve stem fail...no puncture, no leak from tube...all of a sudden I have a flat and when I pump air in preliminarily to check things, the valve stem leaks all the fluid out from tip and from base....terrible manufacturing control....where are these being made????
