Like most herbals, the capsules are large. I have had high cholesterol for several years and it kept going up. My doctor threatened to put me on medicine which I did not want because of side effects. I saw a Youtube short on this herbal and it said that it would help with cholesterol. I was skeptic but I tried it. I do have to mention that a few months before I started Weight Watchers, but regardless when I went to the doctor for my annual. my cholesterol went fron 257 to 177! I was shocked. I cant guarantee that it was the Berberine, but I had tried dieting before and it only brought my numbers doen to 218. My suggestion is to try it, and see if it works for you. I have trouble swallowing due to dysplasia. The pills are large and I have to open them in order to take them. Yuck , taste is horrible. If you don't have trouble swallowing this has really helped with my nighttime cravings.

I have tried many berberine supplements. These help keep your sugar down and is one of the highest dosage you can get over the counter.
