For the same cost as a box of worms, it works just as well on trout! You can catch multiple trout on one bait. I fish the bait of a short leader fished on the bottom with a sliding sinker.

If you don't want to go looking for worms, try these. Look like the real thing and a lot less messy.

Gulp Worms
These worms are the best! We will never go back to live worms. The moment we put these on the hook, we were reeling them in! They don't cost much more than a tub of live worms %26 you don't have to keep them refrigerated. Just bought 5 more packs!

Chunk-E-Cheese
If a giant rat from the 90's ever needed to go fishing, I'm assuming this is the bait he'd take. The name “chunky cheese” is kind-of disgusting but also makes me laugh with my immature sense of humor. I'm not sure if the scent catches fish yet but I know the color works in my area so here's hoping!
