I bought this stand on sale ($40 instead of $94) so it was a value for my money, but I couldn't afford it had it been full price. It's very sturdy, good quality, and comes with two trunk holders to accommodate the trunk size. My tree is only four feet tall, so the stand looks like it's overkill, but seems appropriate for a tree up to 7.5 feet tall. Initially, I loosely covered the stand with a tree skirt, but the instructions said "do not cover item with cloth, paper, or any other material" so I removed the skirt. The stand is hidden by presents under the tree. I am very pleased to be able to enjoy all sides of my tree!
Ths rotating Christmas tree stand is better than I expected. It was easy to assemble the legs %26 operated better than any stand I have had in previous years. It is quiet with a slow rotating motion, which is perfect for anyone to admire. The tree I have had for the past 2-3 years fits in the stand perfectly %26 the rotation adds to the appearance of the entire tree.
This motor for a Christmas tree is exactly what I wanted to replace one that I have had for over 20 years. I was afraid that they weren't made any more. It won't be used until next year, but I'm hoping that it will be a good replacement for the one I have had for so many years.
This tree stand worked great! I liked having the ability to turn off rotation without turning off my tree's prestrung lights. The kit included adapters for smaller tree "trunks" as well. My recommendation to anyone purchasing is to make sure your tree is fully in the stand (and snug) before starting the rotation feature! Thanks :)
A rotating stand so your Christmas tree is constantly turning is the best discovery ever!! I love being able to see all my ornaments and it rotates slow enough to enjoy every bit of decoration! This has three different size options for tree bases to fit which is also nice! Best investment!
It was exactly what I was looking for to replace an old one I had. The only thing I did not like was the cord to plug the tree into was not long enough to hide up in the tree and I did not like it showing.
Its good enough for under $40...its ez to set up %26 the adapter made my tree fit. It rotates fine. My complaint is that it makes a pretty loud jerking sound after every few turns...loud enough where you could hear it throughout the house. makes me feel like its breaking from the way it sounds.
we got this as it seemed like a good value. liked that could plug the tree in to it along with an extra plug i could use for the star. tested it before xmas. seemed a little wobbly. call to return it. was offered a discount ($ back)and figured could make it more stable. was able to make it work with an occassional slight wobble. fast forward to xmas eve. stand starts making clicking noise every few rotations and tree wobbles alot after clicking. seems like it is breaking and getting worse. turned rotation off and now have a stationary stand. this will not be used next year! should have stayed with the one from Hobby lobby which we returned (since this one appeared a better deal) funny how the hobby lobby on had inserts to adjust for multiple size poles
i would not recommend this product because when my tree is in the stand, it tips side to side. its the piece that goes into the stand. I tried both pieces. I reallywanted this to work so you can see the shole tree as it goes around.
If you sit you tree in this stand get ready for it to not stand straight up my tree was leaning so bad I just put my old stand back and the leveling cups don't fit good at all
