Sometimes Simple Is Better
After buying one (and looking at countless other) digital outdoor timers, we finally realized what we really needed was a well-built mechanical version. We are using two of these to power the filter & pumps on our small garden pond. It is simple, and it works. The 12" cord is just long enough to work in our setting; an additional 6" would have been perfect. What may be the most important take-away from this review is that we found it ONLY on WalMart.com, not at Lowes, Home Depot, or even a general internet search! Site to Store, no shipping cost, ready for pickup in less than a week . . . what's not to love??

Fabulous item! I'm thrilled!
I love the design and the multipurpose use, It was easy to set up and use immediately. I am thinking of purchasing another one for insurance.

Good timer, simple to use, water resistant, great
This is a good and inexpensive timer you can use indoors or out. Easy to program. I have 2 of them outdoors controlling things I want to operate in the daytime and the other operate in the night.

Works great!
I am using one of these on a 5000 BTU window air conditioner and one on a 1/2 hp. lake aeration pump and they work great. Fantastic control with ability to set on or off points every 1/2 hour for every 24 hours. I would highly recommend it.

Got what I was needing
I just needed a timer that could be programmed for twice a day and was capable to run a small portable heater for about 3 hours in the morning and evening. It was just what I needed at a decent price and accepts 2 plug ins for 3 prong plugs (ground).

Excellent timer but unable to hang on wall....
Because the outdoor plug I'm plugging into it has a large box and is not reversible, I am unable to attach the outdoor timer to the wall to help keep it watertight as the directions suggested. Would be beneficial if the plugs were flipped to allow for that.
