This is a nice calming tablet, for when I am stressed. It also helps my son to sleep.

I am generally one who does not like to take pills for any particular symptoms and would rather try to take more of a holistic approach as opposed to taking any prescription drugs. My work is very stressful at times and I tend to take work home with me, which then leads me to have a hard time unwinding from my day and sleep seems to be an obstacle at the end of my evening. So when I received the Best Naturals L-Tryptophan I made sure I did some research prior to taking them. In researching this product it was nice to see the contents were all natural and safe with no artificial ingredients. On the first evening , I only took one capsule as I was uncertain on how the actual product would react in my system. I tend to lean on the cautionary side and only felt comfortable only taking one that evening. I took it around 8:00pm as I tend to try to be in bed by 10:00pm and only hope to be asleep by 11:00pm if I'm lucky but in past experience I lay there awake due to the busy work schedule I keep and makes it hard to fall asleep. The first night that I took just one capsule seem to have a relaxing affect though my mind was still fighting to keep me awake. So on the second eve I added an additional capsule as I felt comfortable doing another one. That evening I Tom two capsules around the same time and in bed by 10:00pm and was pleasantly surprised I fell asleep by 10:30ish and when I woke up there was no sluggish feeling. I would definitely recommend this product especially to those are are like me who are not comfortable taking any prescription drugs.

L-Tryptophan by Best Naturals is great for sleep! I've been having problems with sleeping at night for the longest time. This high-dose tryptophan helped me get a good night sleep but my blood pressure increased while taking. Also had a vision exam while taking this and my Optometrist noted nystagmus. Had never been diagnosed with that. I wish it was available in a much lower dose. It's in capsule form.
