This treatment completes the conditioning of the humidifier's water. It removes clorine. Which is very good because no one should want to breathe swimming pool water. Over all it is a good product. I will purchase again.
I usually buy this at the store, but was unable to find any there, I decided to order it on line and it was a very good experience. I have used this product in the past, and it seems to help extend the life of the filter in my humidifier. I use this in conjunction with the bacteria preventative and they work well together. I will continue to use this water treatment.
This does the job it's supposed to. You will still need to clean your filter weekly but it's easier with this.
I use several large reservoir humidifiers over the winter and this has been a good purchase. I've added 2-3 capfuls to the tanks with every fill up and there has been little residue and less pink bacterial growth.
Just started using this product and so far it seems to be doing its job.

Best Air's specialty is air quality. This is a water treatment for humidifiers. It helps rid the water of mineral buildup on my humidifier. The Vitamin C gets of white film from chlorine. It only requires a couple of teaspoons with a fill. This isn't clean up the element but the tank. It seems to get rid of the white dust I see when running the humidifier. I also use another of their products to help clean the heating element. The hard water does a number on the element. The only way to avoid that is distilled water which can be pricey if you're going thru a couple of gallons a day. My humidifier doesn't require a filter but they sell them. It can be used on warm
I like this additive but I still have to wash humidifier mildew. I just don't have to wash it as often but it seems odorless, I am using filtered water because I cannot afford to buy distilled water as it is evaporated so quickly. Perhaps it would make a difference but my income will not allow me to use distilled water each filling.
I ordered a 32 FL oz humidifier Refresh Plus C, BestAir, from this vendor through Walmart.com. The package arrived on time. Like many liquid orders that come taped so the lid wouldn't open during transportation, the lid on this order was also taped, but unusually tripled taped! I took the tapes off and noticed the lid was totally cracked and wouldn't stay on the bottle! I was able to replace the lid from another bottle that was empty, but it left me with a bad feeling. Did the person that taped the lid noticed the crack and therefore triple taped? Or is it the common practice here to tape the lids like that? In either case, I got the package on time, nothing was spilled, and what I received was what I had ordered!
It's not particularly clear what the solution is supposed to do or how it helps my humidifier. This the is the third treatment that is remmommended. I have to buy three bottles of treatment? Why can't they all be in one bottle? The label is very hard to read as the typeface is small and in poorly contrasting colors. There is no consistent measuring cap -- use 1/2 of a cap or 1 cap. A cap of what? It doesn't seem to make any difference in how much humidity is created or how long the wicks last. I don't think I will be buying this again.
